LOVE these boots! The rounded square toe is perfect. They’re pretty comfortable and the height is perfect—they don’t slip down or anything. The zipper never gets caught and goes well with so many skirts and dresses!

NOTE: These didn’t end up fitting my calves so I returned them in the end, BUT still amazing boots. These boots really are awesome. I put them on and my confidence skyrocketed. I’m not a heel person, either— I’m a klutz, but took a chance on a chunky heel and these. Boots. Are. SEXY!! And walkable!! I also was trying them on with my Renaissance Faire outfits so, hence the clothing in the pics. I’m a short & curvy girl so they sadly didn’t fit over my calf, but I still give them five stars for those they do fit, cause they’re great. Beautiful quality. I just gotta find a different pair for fuller calves. :) Hopefully my photos help those who are unsure of their calf size with these boots. ... show more

These boots are really cute and have more of a trendy look than I expected. I like the platform and chunky heel because they give me some extra height without being too difficult to walk in. The square toe also makes them feel less cramped compared with some pointed-toe boots I've worn. The side zipper makes getting them on and off pretty easy. They look great with jeans tucked in or with a skirt, and the knee-high style makes an outfit look more put together without needing much else. I've worn them for a few hours at a time and they've been comfortable enough for walking around and going out. They're definitely a fun pair to have for fall and spring. ... show more

These boots are gorgeouss. I’m in love with the shape of the heel! I’m normally a size 6-6.5 depending on the shoe, but long boots are always a bit of a gamble because I have very small calves (approx. 12”) and they can sometimes make my legs look a bit silly if I size up, as I’m sure the circumference increases along with the shoe size. I tested my luck and ordered a 6 and they are actually a perfect fit *without socks.* You might want to order at least half a size up if you plan to layer with anything other than tights or socks on the thinner side. I’m 5ft 1” for reference on length/height as well. As for the circumference, it does still have a lot of extra room on me, which was to be expected, but much less than I’ve seen on other boots of similar styles in my opinion, and it surprisingly doesn’t look too weird, so I don’t think I mind it. They also have these little elastic pieces on the top, inner parts of the boots which I’m sure if to accommodate a wider calf. I’ve only been wearing them for bits at a time around the house and they’ve been pretty comfortable and lightweight so far, but I can’t say much about any long term wear yet. These Choiran boots are a winning high heel pair in comfort, sizing, and looks. The zipper is very smooth and easy to use, and the boots themselves are very easy to put on. The block heel is about 3.5 inches including the platform, and these have a really nice rounded square toe, leaving plenty of space for toes of all sizes. The leather material is a little on the flimsy side, but it doesn't slide down or sag at all, so it's not an issue or anything. When ordering these I sort of missed the wide calf part, but that's okay because they aren't very wide at the top which is preferable for someone like me who has skinnier legs. Also, when I ordered these the color selection available was more limited, but now there are far more colors available (leaving me kind of wishing I had waited, but I did get these when the price was good). And these are great boots for the price and I'm happy I got them. ... show more
