Description

A new concept film 2 years in the making is finally out! Indestructible wrap is the toughest, most durable finish we have ever made. At nearly 35 mils thick, we had to formulate a new material formula that will allow for more stretch, conformability and resistance. Corners and edges have been a big concern for such a thick film and with the introduction of the new formula, it has finally passed and exceeded all tests for edges making it an extremely reliable finish. This wrap comes with heat activated paint-safe automotive- grade adhesive.

    • It’s awesome, but expect shrinkage

Ok, so this stuff is great as long as you use more than you think you’ll need! I wrapped the hood of my Jeep jk, and it looked great. BUT! About 2 months after wrapping, I noticed that the edges were lifting. A month after that, the wrap had completely come off the underside of the hood, and was slowly shrinking back from the top edge of the hood. I had to pull the wrap and start over, which I was happy to do because the product is awesome! It just doesn’t have the same adhesion power as the other vivid wraps, and it’s more rubbery than the other wraps as well, so it shrinks. You guys, it shrinks a LOT. I had a solid 3 inches of spare wrap around the entire hood tucked and stuck to the underside, and when I pulled the first try off, it had shrunk about 4 inches so it wasn’t even stuck to the bottom anymore, and was showing an inch of the original paint job on top of the hood. Frustrating, but more of a user error issue. It looks awesome, and as long as you have a heat gun, it’s very easy to use. So easy to work with. I wanted to bedline some of the “chrome ish” trim pieces on my 2016 Tucson but then I came across this! Way quicker and can be removed if need be. It is also compatible with the Circuit to make decals and such. I used the card stock setting.

My first attemp turned out decent. But I had several sit bumbles I popped and sever dark places from getting it to hot. It only takes a very short burst of heat to to make this soft and it’s easy to over heat and burn. But it you work it right and take your time you can hear it and form it around anything. The bottom of my rocker pannel and several offsets. And on my second attempt I got it down perfectly with no bubbles or burns. Gotta buy one more roll now to redo the side I messed up on. The media could not be loaded. This product worked well for me to cover and protect my bumper from kids, dogs, and life in general. Thick and durable (see my video scratch test). All in all looks good and pretty easy to install after a little trial and error with some scraps.

I like the 25' roll better. The 10' roll its like new/old stock and not as rough. Backer paper was different too. It was a hard sell and had to discount it.

Used this to wrap the rocker panels and hood on my rig. Turned out really nice. It's pretty tough wrap and can take a beating. Not that easy to wrap around corners and rounded edges though, but then again I'm just a DIYer. It's been on there for about two months now and no problems. Do pay attention to the wrap of you order multiple rolls. My first roll was great, but my second did not match color or texture. They made it right and sent me another one. ... show more
