I'm very pleased with my new flagpole. It is considerably heavier and sturdier than my old one. I do appreciate having the rotating collars that make it so I no longer have to run out and unfurl my flag every time the wind wraps the flag around my flagpole. The mounting bracket is wonderfully made, very heavy duty. I look forward to being able to display our Stars & Stripes for many years with this great pole.

The price is good. For the price I can't expect too much, this kit hits that mark. It isn't heavy duty bit is acceptable. If you have high winds it may not be a good choice. One nitpick, as I am a stickler for honesty and accuracy in product descriptions and listings: the images show a heavier U.S. Flag with stitched stripes and stars. However, the flag included is thin and inexpensive printed nylon. It does have a nice and accurate color, but it will not last and I discarded it for a quality sewn flag. The mounting bracket is mostly what I was after. This kit is similarly priced to the bracket alone. So the pole and hardware is simply a bonus. The pole is effective but not heavy duty. If you only have light winds, it will be fine.

The only complaint is that the flag is cheap but I have a better one on it and also it doesn’t swivel around the pole in windy weather.
