I really like these gloves. I had the half finger version of these for many years. They were red with grey palms. I like that on the updated gloves the palms are black. The fit was right. I got these full fingered gloves in the same size(medium for me) in the astral blue color. The blue is a nice unique color. I’ve only used them a few times, but so far, so good. They were pretty much comfortable when I put them on and there is not really a break in period although I think they will wear in over time. ... show more

My boyfriend and I both use these gloves for rappelling as well as the fingerless for scrambling and we love them. Good grip, not too thick that you feel like you can’t hold onto a rope and they aren’t burning out quick like some do.

I work a zip line entailing significant carabiner action. After 4 trips there is significant thinning on the forefinger and the seam there is coming unstiched already. I expected better from black diamond. I did find the inside of the seams were uncomfortable at first, between the fingers where seams intersected, there was excess fabric that rubbed though it softened up after they got wet.
