Very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this toolbox. The price is honestly too low for this level of quality, but I’m not complaining!! It is made of a thicker plastic, so it feels very durable. The clear plastic containers on the lid latch very tightly, unlike some of the others I have purchased. It seems like this will last a long time. Plenty of room for all my hand tools I need, and it looks awesome as well. Overall, very much worth my money, I would 100% purchase again!!

Pretty standard stamped steel that is pressed out, pressed into shape and then spot welded together. The 20 gauge steel used here is thicker than the standard budget tool boxes and is thick enough to resist easy denting. I would call the budget steel boxes light duty and this box medium-ish duty. Full piano hinge between box and lid - looks like 5 spot welds connect the hinge to the lid and 5 spot welds connect it to the box. Powder coating is done well. Tray is same gauge steel that is pressed into shape and spot welded. The metal handle is a nice touch and won't rot, become brittle or fatigue over time like plastic can. The rivets are all set correctly - not too deep or to shallow so I expect those to hold up under the 33lb spec. I would not say this is waterproof but it doesn't claim to be. Probably fine in a light rain but not in a downpour or in a marine environment though again it doesn't make these claims and those aren't my uses. Mine came with a very slight bend in the lip of the lid and one of the clasps looking like maybe the rivet machine was set a little too aggressively. Or after it was done, some sort of shearing force warped it slightly. This is minor though and I don't consider it a real problem as minor imperfections on a tool box don't bother me and it doesn't affect function. My initial observation is 4 stars because while this is a nice box and I would give it a premium price over budget boxes, I think the price is probably higher than it should be.

This is a nice toolbox. I had my tools in a cardboard box and I really wanted something with compartments and that I can close and carry. I like that it's made of durable plastic and it's a good size. Works for what I need.

Not a bad box. Latches come off the box too easy. They are alright when fastened, but if loose, they just fall off the box.
