This is a nice budget frame, with a solid build quality but still lightweight. It arrived well packaged, with a peel-off film on both sides of the plexiglass front. It is plastic and not glass, and the look of the frame does reflect this, but with artwork inside it looks fine as long as it is not in direct light. Direct light does cause some glare, but that's to be expected with a budget plastic frame. The best things about this frame, however, is the much-easier-than usual access; many inexpensive frames are really difficult to open, but this one was really easy. It has well made metal tabs on the back that you just push down slightly and turn to the side to release. One small problem, clear plastic cover sheet had small cracked piece at corner but it was within the frame boundaries so it doesn't show. Lightweight but sturdy frames. There are 4 items from Amazon in the photo: the diamond art, a sealant kit, 8" mats, and this item - a 16" frame. Each will be reviewed. Mats are Golden State Art 8" x 8", sealant was Diamond Art Sealer Kits, and art kit was 4 pack 5D Cartoon Animals. This frame worked perfectly! There was ample thickness for the diamond painting and the mats. I opted to put the art behind the plexiglass, though others have placed the plexiglass behind their works. Size is important and this frame fit the 8" x 8" mats perfectly! While I review the mats elsewhere, the openings fit the images nicely. I was able to get all 4 pieces to fit well in the frame without any gaps or shifting nor having to trim the mats. I truly LOVE the clips at the back. They are springy, so will work with different thicknesses of artwork. They also have a bit of slide, so they can be rotated into place at 90 degrees to the frame edge. A hook at the end of each captures the frame edge nicely. There are 2 on each side and they will keep your artwork secure. This is a great value for a frame of this size. Would I put expensive, fine art in it? No--it's a plastic frame with a thin, plexiglass surface. However, for crafts this does a lovely job! ... show more

We slapped a puzzle in here and it fit great, looks nice in our living room. Feels sturdy enough and was super easy to mount. The color and feel are top notch and looks like a highly expensive frame. Has no glare which is good for our puzzle
