A lot of fun so far. Longitudinally, it is very stable, but not as good in the yaw department. I don’t regret this purchase. It was a little rough on the Gulf in a sea state of 2, but I assume most kayaks would be. It does just fine with a sea state of 1.

Ok, first off, the kayak I received did not look like the one in the picture. The color was the same, (I got the blue and white one), but the dry storage in the middle is a rectangle not a circle and the foot section is adjustable (not like the one in the picture). I like what I received sooo much better than the original pic! The rectangle dry storage fits 4 beers and and ice pack perfectly. The seat is way better than what was pictured too. It comes with a removable lawn chair style seat that is super comfortable and adjusts easily. I store my kayal on a rac at my neighborhood boat ramp, so being able to remove the seat and store it where it is not out in the weather is great. It's a little awkward to lift and carry, but I am able to lift it up into a kayak rack that is above my head by myself. (I'm 5' 8" and 1 40lbs female for reference). I take this kayak out every chance I get!

This is a nice kayak overall but it's very heavy! I am an older woman and wanted something I could handle but this is difficult at best... I can't get it on my roof rack by myself so have to load it in the back of my pickup. Not what I wanted to do...

Couple scratches and the arrival was late, but hey I'm taking it out on the water tomorrow, will update. *Update-2 months later the paddle snapped at end of the metal shaft. Will update on customer service support.*Update:Reached customer service via email, was told a replacement paddle would be sent. *Hopefully my last update. BKC came through and sent me a replacement paddle, I hope it holds up. After several excursions on the water, this 9'2 kayak is a beast with speed and control, the dry storage has worked phenomenally. The only downside has been the paddle but has been replaced. Fingers crossed.

I like the look of the kayak and it’s easy to get in and out. It’s a little heavy and I can’t figure out how to attach the nice elevated seat they sent with it in the event I tip over the kayak or what the side rails do. I don’t think they have responsive customer service as I’ve emailed a couple of sufficiently unanswered questions and asked them to call me but they haven’t. The delivery was supposed to be a call to schedule but it showed up randomly. So the kayak is good but service is not.

This is my first kayak. I took it out last week. As a 130Lb female, i had no trouble loading and unloading the kayak by myself. Shipping took 2.5 weeks and arrived in great condition. A little disappointed that the kayak is not exactly what I ordered. There were supposed to be 4 flush mount pole holders, there's only 2. The dry storage compartments pictured are both round. Mine arrived with a square compartment. Not an issue, still works and looks fine, just not as pictured. The color is also different. It has a nice brightish blue where the darker slate gray should be in the picture of the gray camo version. It actually looks better with the added blue. I am in love with my kayak. Just be mindful what you receive may not be exactly what was pictured.

This yak gets you out into the middle of the lake! Need I say more? My husband is 50 and has no probably lifting it onto the top of our Jeep. It will fit in the Jeep if you lay all the seats down and take it to the dash. He didn't find it stable enough to stand on. Rod holders work well, the seat was comfortable-even after 4 hrs, oars worked fine. He made pretty good time while paddling. For the length that it is, it paddles pretty straight. It drifts quite a bit, so you might want a small boat anchor. Something good to know...it's hard to hide if it's a gift.

I got this kayak for my 16-year old. It is light, very maneuverable, and has a comfortable seat. Easy to transport and comes with everything you need to get out on the water and enjoy it. Being slightly shorter, it does take time to keep it in a straight line, especially for a 16-year old who easily overpowers it. It is also a bit pricey, so if you can find a deal it would make it a better value. After having this kayak for a while, I suggest this for a shorter or a smaller person. While very stable and highly maneuverable, it is easy to overpower due to its shorter length. Definitely not for someone looking for any sort of speed or long trips. If I could get this in 10' - 12', it would be perfect.
