The little mat anchored my bats beautifully. No more smearing clay on the wheel to attach the bat. Also makes taking the bat off super easy without scratching the wheel head. Wish I had known about this years ago. Highly recommend for potters especially if you are making a large piece on a bat.

The bat mat came folded inside a plastic bag. When I opened the bag I could hardly get the mat out it was stuck in many places but I managed it. Unfortunately once out of the plastic I could not unfold the mat it was truly stuck to itself!
