Description
Step 1: assemble. Pretty much only goes together one way, bug open rectangle piece goves over the big open rectangle screen. Use long screws from the top down and use the brass hexagonal standoffs to secure it to the board. The only other plate goes on the bottom and goes in the only direction that makes sense and uses the only 4 matching screws left which are shorter. Done. Step 2: scan QR or connect your phone to the wifi displayed on the solo miner screen. It will take you to an interface for the miner where you can connect it to your wifi. I recommend setting up a separate isolated vlan and creating a wifi ssid that lives only on the vlan but FEAR NOT you can literally just connect it to your regular wifi ssid and its fine Step 3: enter crypto/bitcoin wallet id. This is legit the hardest part and if you dont know how to do this, youll want to watch some online videos of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, and crypto wallets because its just good info to know. Anyway just add you wallet id to where it says wallet id. Step 4: save and wait. Extra: if you mess up hold the boot button for 15 seconds to reset and start over its literally that easy.

Anyway, works great so far, running at about 900 which is better than 450 and for the size/wattage its better than most solo miners. Have fun and dont forget to check on it!

Bad buy.
It’s a bad buy product works, but you can’t change the bitcoin wallet so I’m the Slim chance you do actually unlock a block you’re not getting paid for it. They give you instructions on how to change the wallet, but they don’t work after the first step. Nothing else lined up with the instructions that they sent you and then if you go to the web portal that is provided, you can see the wallet address, not being yours, but you can’t change it.

Cool Solo Miner!
Fun little miner to watch work. Runs most of the time in between 990-1100 KH/s. Easy to assemble and setup - Mine didn't come with instructions, but there is a manual available as a PDF linked on the item Amazon description page. After getting the device hooked up to my WiFi, I then logged into the IP address of the device via the browser on my computer, I was easily able to complete further configuration on the device and put my Bitcoin address in both fields of the config page, just in case this little miner manages to solve a block. The item is pre-shipped with a Bitcoin address to deposit funds to, so do not forget to change that in both places, so make sure you set up a wallet and get your "receive" Bitcoin address in there. It is real easy to monitor the activity at the public pool website (web.public-pool.io) and the website (IP address of the device entered into your web browser) of the device.

Complete and Total Scam
Update: After finally getting it to work for about 2 weeks, it has reverted itself to the originally configured bitcoin wallet. So, this is even more of a scam than I realized. They are actively, and knowingly, building their own wallet address into the software and programming it to reset to defaults in order to use my miner to mine on their own behalf. I'll be contacting Amazon to have the seller removed. Don't waste your money. After three hours of trying every possible permutation of every possible troubleshooting tip, this piece of junk simply won't connect to any public nerd miner pool. The manufacturer and distributer of this product should be permanently banned from Amazon.

Good product, few cons
Bought 2 of these just to have around for fun. They’re not fast and are likely to not get a block but it was fun getting a little more into the mining space and learning about it. Value is good for the price. Cons: - Might be difficult for some people to set up - Has a random bitcoin address set as default (MAKE SURE YOU REPLACE IT WITH YOURS)

Makes sure to change the wallet settings to your wallet
I found this to be a gimmick desk toy that is a little better than a clock. Which is basically what it is advertised as being. Setup was fairly simple but there were no directions included so I can see how some people might have some problems putting the covers on. Connecting to WiFi was simple however I had to YouTube how to access and edit the settings after the initial setup. THESE BOARDS COME SETUP WITH A CRIPTO WALLET YOU DONT HAVE ACCESS TO. So if by some lucky chance you hit it won’t go to you unless you change the wallet settings. This is not explained anywhere from the seller. That said I don’t regret the purchase and even if I don’t hit at least I have a desk clock.

Good Bitcoin Miner
Works well as advertised. Easy set up. Do some googling for where to find BITCOIN address and what pool to connect to. By default its using public-pool.io which is fine. Though when you change configuration to use your BITCOIN wallet address instead of factory default. USING your bitcoin wallet address, you can check if its mining on public-pool.io website to confirm its working properly. Keep in mind when setting up you will notice it needs wifi to be connected with it, on your phone you can find it's network, connect to that network then update configuration with your WIFI ID and PASSWORD so it connects to your wifi connection. After it reloads and takes you to the main screen, you should connect to the IP it gives you on the main screen. Connect to the IP with your PC browser(google chrome etc) In THERE edit> configure the miner to point to your BITCOIN address under pool settings, otherwise if you somehow struck gold that money is not going to your pocket. If you get stuck somewhere just google how do I set up my solo NMMiner. Good luck

toy miner mostly
This thing is a toy. Don't expect to mine for a few days and hit a block. Took about an hour to assemble, play with/ setup, and get it going. What took the longest was actually finding my bitcoin address (through coinbase). Setting this thing up is similar to setting up a network camera. You connect to it through your phone, go to the IP address (192.168.4.1 on the address bar will get you to the wifi setup), configure the settings to your liking (brightness, network address you're using, time zone, etc.), restart it and all set. There are a few options for display screens. The main page displays the IP address, running/ up time, current bitcoin value, packets received/ sent, hash rate, difficulty rate. The second page displays time, hash rate, bitcoin value and date. The last screen has a list of current crypto currencies, such as ethereum, DOGE, SOL, and a few others. I'm far from an expert, but did learn a bit about mining through setting up the miner and simple google searches. Again, this thing is a toy, fun to look at and mess with. You're better off playing the lottery than trying to make money off of this thing. I will be giving a few of these away to friends and family for Christmas.
