Have used the Hoover Floor machine for years. Very impressed with the level of cleaning and the ease of use of the Bissell Ctrosswave. Gave one as a gift to my daughter for her new 4000 sq ft home. She has hardwood and tile floors. With 3 cats and 3 dogs she uses her machine everyday. She reminds me regularly how much she depends on her machine and really enjoys cleaning with it. For myself I use mine several times a week. The ability to vacuum with the same machine you wash with saves time and reduces the number of machines needed to keep your house clean.     • Best floor cleaner, ever!
Finally. I have found a convenient way to clean my floors! I recently moved into a new home in the Phoenix area. I was constantly using a wet mop and trying to clean up the fine, desert dust. All I could do is make a streaky mess on my dark, wood look tile. With the Crosswave, I only have to do one pass, and voila!-the floor is clean, with no streaks! I’m also pleased knowing the carpet cleaning is just as efficient. The fine dust is also coming out of those, as well. I find that clean up is probably the most easiest I’ve ever had with any floor cleaner.     • brush doesn;t spin
with light use on wood floors only (after about 6 months), the brush no longer spins. Bissel has a video that shows removing a string (or rubber band) as an obstruction... How can a 4" string be an obstruction? Unit is cleaned after every use and has no wear (probably because the brush doesn't roll), but I have no idea how long ago the brush stopped working. Does clean up messes from toddlers spilling food well.. does need cleaned out often. but that is not a problem compared to the added convenience it offers by being an all in 1 aide in Cleaning my home. What comes out of the tank amazes me bc I do keep a clean home and we wear no shoes inside. It is obvious proof it is doing its job well. Full price is too high but I bought through kohls w a discount and earned kohls cash.point is, if you want spmething, find a deal if you can. It is worth it in this product. It is a lifesaver. Great hardwood floor cleaning. It makes them shine shine shine. Very useful on any hardwood or tiled or laminated flooring, also cleans area rugs very well. It takes a little time to cover a large area but very well worth it........
