The wording in the name of this attachment is deceiving. It is air powered not by a separate motor. The auction depends on your machine. With a higher pile rug you get less brushroll rotation.

I bought the Bissell big green machine, very terrific carpet cleaning machine! Moving on, it came with the upholstery and stair attachment, but it's the kind of attachment that you have to scrub over and over. This turbo brush takes that back and forth motion away. I managed to clean up a spot on the carpet that's in between my wall and entertainment center with ease. My wife also handed me a couch pillow to clean with it, took maybe 2 minutes to clean all sides. The pillow had old chocolate milk stains on it, those stains are now non existent on the pillow. I'm not sure if it's because it's new but the brushes took forever to rotate. I had this attachment when I bought my Bissell carpet cleaner and it worked very well. After a long period of time it needed to be replaced. I was too busy to figure out what the problem is with the new one. Next time I'll try to spend more time to make it work properly. This new brush fit my Little Green Machine perfectly and made it perform like a new one. It's very tough to clean the tool, so purchasing a new one was a great alternate.

    • Useless on carpet.
This this simply doesn’t work on carpeting. The brushes rotated (just barely) for about 10 minutes. The internal friction of the moving parts locked it up. I disassembled, cleaned, & lubricated the internals with a silicone spray lubricant special for plastic. The unit worked for about 20 minutes more before locking up again. It’s going into the bin. I’ll finish the job with the manual brush that came with the machine. ... show more
