So, I ordered this 'Birllaid Double Sided Tape' which I anticipated that it may get me even more sauer taste in my mouth. Well... I was wrong! This 'Birllaid Double Sided Tape' is top-notch quality. It very well serves the intended purpose that I gave it to do, and it does equally well every time I use it. The tape has the correct amount of glue on each side, and that translates in keeping parts together firmly. In a project, I had to remove the tape, but the glue did not damage the surfaces. I do not think that you will regret it.

We used this tape for a picture board at a wedding, and also to tac down the isle runner. It worked great. I did have to work at getting the tape off the cement floor when removing the isle runner. But overall very happy with the product.

I mostly use double stick tape to tape sandpaper to sanding blocks, therefore, I mostly care about how the tape performs when resisting lateral forces. I tested this against Scotch 109-3 poster tape (https://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Removable-Poster-Tape-Inches/dp/B007Z92RZ0/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2F0F05NBOCDBJ&keywords=scotch+poster+tape+double+sided&qid=1692354127&sprefix=scotch+poster+tape%2Caps%2C265&sr=8-5) by taping thin aluminum strips to a board, then hanging a bunch of washers off of those strips with paper clips. A square inch of both the Birllaid and Scotch tapes held half a pound of washers overnight. In the vertical direction, both tapes easily release with a lot less force than that when I pulled the aluminum strips off of the board. I don't have a calibrated way to measure that force, but they felt about the same with the Scotch tape perhaps being slightly stronger. The dimensions of the two products differ, so let's compare price on a per-square-inch basis: Birllaid $11.99/600=2 cents per sq-in vs Scotch $5.50/(150x.75)=4.9 cents per sq-in. Birllaid seems to perform the same as Scotch at about half the price.

However, my wife uses double sided tape frequently and we always have it in the house. We have been most impressed with this tape, as it is stronger than the tape we normally get at the grocery store. She loves the fact that she can cut to the size she needs and keep one side with the backing on, since it has the backing paper. She much prefers this double sided tape to what she has been using.

I love this tape! I’m a teacher and use this on my bulletin boards. It will be my must from now on. It’s a nice, thick double sided tape. It holds very well. It’s affordable. You just cut it the size that you need. It’s easy to cut even though it’s thicker. It’s not super thick, but it is thicker than normal, double-sided tape. The tape is sticky on one side so you can adhere it to something. You them pull off the other side that is yellow and stick it where you want it to go. I have used this on my bulletin boards. It’s been two months and it’s still holding good. Hope this helps!

I operate a machine shop and I got this double sided tape to aid in fixturing parts. Sometimes I need a strong bonding double sided tape to hold the parts to the table without clamps getting in the way. I'm afraid this is not that sort of tape. I cleaned some flat pieces of aluminum as well as my table and did some testing. Unfortunately, the tape releases way too easy for my intended use. This tape does have it's purpose, however. It holds paper and cardboard well. Maybe holding photographs in an album (pretty sure no one under 40 will have a clue what I'm talking about there). My point is this is a nice, very thin double sided tape that may be useful for many things, but it's holding power is limited by the substrate it's attached to.
