Two Australian shepherds in the house equals a lot of hair…everywhere. We’ve gone through about a thousand rolls of lint roller tape and it was getting out of hand. Enter this little gadget. The pros: it picks up the hair! Really, really well! Our sectional in our family room holds onto pet hair like nobody’s business and this roller snatches it up with little effort. It also keeps the hair contained in the trap behind the roller. This makes getting rid of the collected hair really easy and we are not longer filling up the landfill with endless lint roller tape. The con: the flap for the hair trap flips up on me a lot. This might be user error. However, when I’m really getting after it, the latch will trigger and the flap pops up - this doesn’t really affect the usefulness of the product. It’s just a minor annoyance. This is basically a large lint brush with nice-grip handle and a compartment to capture the lint/hair for easy disposal. It works pretty well. I am not sure it works better than the tear-off pet hair removal rollers, but it is definitely more economical. It did have me a bit confused at first, because I thought it was a roller brush. It doesn't actually roll much. After it picks up hair, you manually have to turn the brush to send the hair to the capture compartment and you still have to pick a little hair off of the brush with your hands. Still, not a bad deal and it did a very good job cleaning off the hair from everywhere my cat likes to sleep. ... show more

We have four pets and LOTS of pet hair in our house, so I'm always on the lookout for pet hair removal tools. This works pretty well and I really like that it catches the hair in a little compartment that you empty later. It rolls pretty well and I like that it doesn't use little sheets of tape that you have to throw out and replace later. Overall, I'm impressed with this roller. ... show more

This works OK, but it’s not my favorite. I like to pet the neighborhood dogs on my walk. When I get back, I often have dog hair on my clothes. This seems to work OK. The hair somehow gets picked up, even though the roller only goes a little bit forward then stops. I finally figured out that back and forth seems to be how this works. It’s all plastic, but seems to be sturdy enough. I guess I just have trouble getting used to the very short back and forth routine. ... show more

    • It Works but it's Cheap
It picks up cat fur and it's reusable like it says but the plastic feels cheap. There are no instructions on how to use it besides a few unhelpful pictures on the box. It only took me a few seconds to figure out so it's not too complicated.

    • This is a LIFESAVER!
I really didn't know what to expect, it was cheap so I figured why not. But this thing works so well, gets all my cats' hair right off my new couches no problem! I haven't tried to use it on anything else yet, but it is totally worth it! My guests don't have to sit all over a hairy couch anymore.

This is the slickest hair remover! I've never used one that captures the hair and then automatically stashes it away in a compartment that you open and dump. I love this! It also picked up a lot of dirt--cleaned my outdoor patio cushion that our dog loves to sleep on. The dirt was sucked up electrostatically! I decided to give it a washing and see how it held up.
