These are my first pair of Birk's. I purchased them after my work colleague kept raving about her pair, which she's had for six years. They're an initial investment, but worth it! I've been wearing them for a month straight now and refuse to take them off. It took me about three weeks to break them in and they are still getting better every time I wear them. I initially took to wearing them right out of the shower, with my feet slightly damp, which seemed to really help soften the footbed and conform it to my foot. The issue is really finding the right size. I spent a lot of time researching the right fit to ensure that I wouldn't be stuck with Birk's that didn't fit quite right. I'm a women's US size 7 - 7.5 (depending on the shoe, but lean closer to a 7 typically). My width is slightly on the larger size, but I'm almost always good with a M width shoe. After reading reviews and consulting the sizing guide on the Birk website, I purchase a pair in size 38. As soon as I got them out of the box, I could see that these were too big. I then downsized to a 37. After trying them on I could tell that they were close, but my heel didn't quite reach the back of the footbed when my full weight was on it like it was supposed to. Next, I purchased a size 36 pair, which is listed as an equivalent 5 - 5.5 on Birkenstock's website. I would have never thought I'd have to go that small. When they arrived I compared them with my 37's and could instantly tell that this was the right fit. They felt better on my feet as I walked. Not too small, but cradled my foot nicely. I'm so happy I took the time to find the right size!

I love the color and the comfort of the shoe. I also like the adjustability of the straps. The support is incredible! I have foot issues and these are so comfortable. I am looking for the same comfort in a cold-weather shoe.

Same old birkenstock sandal just runs a bit big, should have gone for size 38 but I wear size 39 in all of my other footwear. Also I thought it's got soft foot bed, not bad so I would just go on with it

I bought these after wearing knock offs for years. Most of them never fit my foot right and to keep them on I had to scrunch my toes to keep them on because the last hole was still too loose. These can be adjusted with holes that allow you to fit the shoe to your foot perfectly! Also, the support you get from Birkenstocks is like nothing I have worn before. The quality of the shoe is holding up like they are brand new even though I have worn them every day this spring and summer. If you are on the fence about spending the money for these- just do it. You won't be disappointed.

These Birkenstock Mayari sandals are comfy the moment you put them on, and they're cute! I'll be able to wear them with jeans, shorts, and my sun dresses. Very affordable... at least $20.00 less than any other place I looked, and I got them in two days. With the price being so low I was afraid the shoe might be a second, but thankfully they weren't. They are consistent with the quality you'd expect with a Birkenstock shoe, real leather, in perfect condition, in the original box. Love, love, love!!!

I'm between a size 8.5M and 9M in women's shoes depending on the brand, and have a slightly wide foot (on rare occasions I will get a wide size, usually I just size up) and was nervous about how the sizing ran in Birkenstock. Just in case it didn't work out, I made sure the product I was ordering came from Amazon fulfillment and made sure it offered free returns/exchanges. I purchased the 39M and was surprisingly very happy with it. I was worried about the sandal being too small since it didn't come in half sizes, but it actually fit just right. I was worried about the toe strap being too constricting (I have chubby toes) but they are comfortable as well. Very happy with the adjustable straps, they accommodate larger feet. The sandals are still a little stiff, but with each wear (I've had it now for a couple of weeks) they have been softening up. I am very pleased with the support, fit and comfort of the shoe.

I normally wear a size 6 and although everyone said I would need a 37, the 36 fit me much better. This style was nice as it was wider than the Florida style that I had previously purchased and returned. Fits my foot nice and contrary to what my sister might think, I don't think it is ugly at all ;) The oiled leather is a much nicer option than the fake leather so spring for it if you have the extra money. Overall I am very happy with them and can't stop wearing them although I think they have given me some foot pain!!??
