The impressive combination of design and wearability will see kids through the day in style and with comfort. The upper is made from the skin-friendly, hard-wearing synthetic material Birko-Flor in a sophisticated nubuck look, which boasts a texture and color that could almost be mistaken for real leather. You will enjoy your Birkenstocks for years because they can be repaired, resoled, or even completely renewed. Leather lining. Anatomically correct cork footbed, crafted from cork that is 100% renewable and sustainable, encourages foot health. Two straps with adjustable metal pin buckles. Birkenstock uses the color names Antique Lace Birko-Flor and Graceful Pearl White interchangeably, and boxes may arrive marked as either. Dual-layer Jute: top wicks away moisture while the bottom adds strength and makes resoling easy. Raised toe bar is designed to encourage the natural gripping motion of your feet, exercise your legs, and aid circulation. Neutral heel profile and deep heel cup keep the natural padding of your foot where it belongs, under the heel, distributing your body weight more evenly. Flexible Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) outsole offers lightweight, shock-absorbing support with lasting durability. Heat Warning - Cork footbeds or EVA soles can be damaged by exposure to concentrated heat. Do not leave your footwear in direct sunlight or in closed cars on warm days. If your footwear becomes wet, allow it to air dry slowly, away from direct heat. Made in Germany. This is the real deal. Still have them to this day! Got me through my whole pregnancy and was the only shoes I could wear due to swelling and them being adjustable ! Worth the price for sure! Over time it will shape to your own foot shape making it so comfortable once broken in. It’s a very light shoe as well.

Great option if you need a little more support
I'm at that age now where I need a bit more arch support in my shoes so I went looking for a good summer sandal that I could wear daily. Imagine my surprise to discover that Birkenstocks, the it-shoes of my high school days, had made a comeback. Really happy with this style, whose look I like better than the traditional Birks, but also because the toe piece helps them stay on your feet without your toes having to do extra work with every step. I thought I was ordering a leather style but the mocha color is a faux leather. It's held up well so I don't mind, but if you care about that just make sure you choose a color that comes in leather. There are leather options if you pay more careful attention than I did. You may need to break these in before they're comfortable to wear. I wore them a little too long on my first try and it was really painful. My fault, I didn't follow the breaking-in instructions from Birkenstock. After that I wrote them a couple of hours a day for about a week, gradually increasing the time and got my feet used to them. In a week or less I was wearing them pretty much non-stop. They're great for my feet and I have much less foot pain while wearing them. I've also noticed they've helped with my overpronation, even when I'm wearing other shoes. Highly recommend! ... show more

Incredible, comfortable shoes--even for oddly-shaped feet!
As someone who has to bounce back and forth between size 8 and size 9 because of wide, flat feet, I was a little apprehensive about buying Birkenstocks (my first pair!) online. But my boyfriend has had a few pairs over the years and he absolutely adores them so I took the leap. Since I'm usually around an 8 1/2, I ordered the size 39. Even putting them on for the first time I was amazed that they fit so well, and they've only been getting better. The toe strap is comfortable and the entire look of the sandal is adorable, comfortable, and practical! I can wear them all day and then take them out for a night on the town! BONUS! I have slight knee and back problems from various injuries and a history of horseback riding, but these shoes are so supportive and wonderful that the aches never even show up! I love these so much, I wish I could wear them all the time!! ... show more

I think these babies may be just what my ole plantar fasciitis feet need :) some review said that after wearing these a couple of hours your feet would hurt WELL MY FEET HURT ANYWAY!!! been wearing them for about 3 hours and my feet dont hurt any more than before actually they feel better, I know that sounds crazy but its true :) :) but who knows will update in a few day :) so far LOVE THESE and on top of that they are very cute sandals!!! LOVE
I have always had arch problems and because of that I get shooting pain through my feet when I walk around, Birks have been SO amazing! Life changing in the shoe department of my life. I had never spent more that like $30 on a pair of shoes (probably part of my problem?) so I was very hesitant to "splurge" on these. It was not a splurge, and I am SO glad that I bought them, I have never once regretted it, and if they ever wear out or get lost I will not hesitate to replace them. My feet have never been so happy with me, and if I ever go a while without wearing them and then slip them on it just feels like a hug for my feet. Love the feminine style of these Birks!
I love these beautiful Birks, and I'm glad I added them to my collection! They're more feminine than the Arizona style, which is perhaps what I like about them most. They are very well made, comfortable for a good amount of time, and attractive. My only complaint is that it always takes me so dang long to break in my Birks! I know it doesn't happen instantaneously, and that these well-made shoes can take months or even YEARS to break in fully, but I find that each new pair I get can be quite painful to wear for more than a couple hours at a time. I never want to take them off!
I own about five different pairs of Birkenstocks. I look forward to summer mainly so I can these comfortable sandals on my feet. But of all the pairs of Birkenstocks I own, these new pair have quickly become my favorite. The color is great so I can wear them with almost anything. The fit is perfect. I know the size I wear for other Birkenstocks, so it made it easy to buy online because I know that the sizing would be similar to the other Birk sandals I own. My feet feel so supported and rarely get tired in them when standing or walking for long periods of time. Granted, I haven't gone on long hikes with them, but for me, they're perfect for work, at home, for travel...I never want to take them off. ... show more

These shoes are amazing!!
When I first got these shoes they were so stiff, but I could not take them off my feet because they were just so awesome. When I first wore them it was on a long college visit, but it was too much walking for not have been broken in yet and my feet rubbed against the bottom of the shoes and developed a blister. I stopped wearing them for a few days and then I wore them again and they did not leave a blister. I suggest to wear them sporadically at first and then after a few times they start to feel amazing. I just love them now because they remind me of walking barefoot. They are extremely comfy and now I never want to take them off. I would recommend this product to everyone. ... show more
