I'm a size 10 in US sizes, and the 41 fits perfectly. I'm a runner, logging 25-40 miles/week and had suffered for about 7 months with plantar fasciitis. I'm a teacher, also, and on my feet all day. The soft footbed of these sandals is amazing! My feet don't hurt at all by the end of the day!

So comfortable. Order 2 sizes small though because they run big + the soft suede stretches out once broken in!

I love my exorbitantly expensive Birkys. Comfortable, yes. But the straps need more holes. Had to poke two more holes to get them to fit properly. The leather does stretch over time, but these are new and so that's not the problem. Why they don't come in half sizes is beyond me. 8 1/2 would've been perfect. ... show more

I'd used Oofoos and Timberland fatigue overman boots. But back to basics. Birkenstocks have that firm but comfortable cork support that works.
