Description

The Motel 7100 line of oils uses the same lubrication technology derived from technical partnerships with racing teams both on and off-road. 100% Synthetic Ester based motorcycle lubricant for high-performance, sport, off-road, Endure, and trial bikes fitted with 4-stroke engines, integrated or non- integrated gearbox, wet or dry clutch. Use of 100% Synthetic Ester material with anti-wear additives results in improved shear resistance for increased gear protection and engine reliability. Compatible with modern emission regulation technology including exhaust gas after treatment systems such as catalytic converters and air injection into the exhaust pipe.

    • Seems a little thinner than other 10w-40s I’ve used.
I used Silkolene 10w-40 full synthetic for years until they stopped selling it on Amazon. It was the best. Now it’s hard to find and too expensive. This stuff looks very similar in color, but seems thinner than any 10w-40 I’ve ever used. Hope it’s ok for my bike. We’ll see I guess.

1 word, MOTUL. They make an amazing oil for motorcycles, used in my 2018 Ninja EX400. Runs cooler, smoother, overall awesomeness! Not much else to say since its oil, and it works as intended. Its really all just preference in my opinion. But I use MOTUL's chain cleaner, lub, and engine oil and I've never been anything but completely satisfied with any of their products, and thats an all around WiN.     • Cooled the bike better and engine ran smoother.
Best oil in my opinion for heat displacement and performance. I have a benelli tnt135 and its oil cooled and i could feel the heat come out of the radiator for the oil cooler. Much better than the oil that came stock in it. Engine even seemed to run smoother and clutch felt more responsive.

Not cheap but when running synthetic castrol or yamalube my Beta 400 just doesnt shift right oddly, made me think there was an issue but switching back to motul and the issue was fixed

This oil really helps keep temps in check. I use this in a 158cc Yamaha Zuma scooter. Many times I well above 9000rpms for 45 minutes straight. Not only the oil handle type of abuse with little change on head temp readings, the magnet on my oil plug has little to no metal shavings on it.
