My first thought when I unpacked the items was how soft they felt. Then I tossed them in the washer. They felt just as nice after washing. Finally I got to put the cover on a new comforter and the pillowcase on a new pillow. I had been doing quite a bit of research on the best bedding to use for disrupted sleep issues. The results were natural fibers were best which led me to finding this set to join with my new wool bedding. Before purchase I spent quite a bit of time looking for other options of 100% cotton since there were so few reviews to this set. I rely heavily on reviews to make purchase decisions. In the end, this was still the top choice in my mind to try and I’ve been very happy I did try this set. I wanted a duvet cover with buttons. If a button falls off, it can be sewn back on, but if a zipper breaks there’s usually no easy fix. I even was hoping for and pleased that the buttons fasten so that they are hidden. I went with a natural color because less has been done to the material and less can be better in this instance. Corner ties are really a must with a duvet cover and this set has them. Certification for being organic was an added bonus. To those who welcome (or can’t stop) their pets from enjoying the bedding too, this is not a fur deterrent. I didn’t expect it to be so, and I can certainly see where my black coated furry friend has been laying, but I didn’t find it that difficult to gather and remove the fur balls. Even with few reviews, I’m glad I decided to try this set and I hope paired with my new wool bedding that I’ve found a combo to help me sleep comfortably through the night. ... show more

Super disappointed. After reading the reviews, I was excited to have finally found “the one”. The duvet is huge. The pillow cases, they are also huge. It’s way too big for the king size duvet and pillows I have. The fabric is scratchy, the feel of sateen is not there, and the image posted with the product does not match the product I received. There are no hems on the pillow cases, or on the duvet. It’s the equivalent of a cheap Walmart duvet. I’d love to know what other people are getting compared to what we received, because this does not live up to the reviews posted. Unless these were purchased reviews by the company, then that might add up. Starting my search over in hopes of finding “the one”. ... show more

Pics include both the natural colored duvet and white duvet + packaging pics. You'll have to excuse my crap camera. I was looking for an organic cotton duvet that had a cooling feeling & texture of soft sheets. Initially I bought the natural colored one (pictured) and then I bought a blue one from a different seller (not pictured) I verified both GOTS #s to avoid being ripped off. Both the (natural colored) bioweave duvet and the other one were of equally great quality! However the bioweave one I feel is much better because the seller was much more intentional in packaging. It came in a nice box with tissue paper all wrapped up in a cute bag. Bioweave is obviously committed to their cause. Plus the bioweave has a better price point. Very pleased with the natural colored duvet, I purchased the all white (pictured) duvet. Both are EXACTLY what I was looking for! They wash/dry well. The ties are strong.... And you just feel like you're wrapped in a cloud! Both my girls LOVE these duvets. The buttons are easy enough to work with but not so big that they're bothersome. As far as putting the duvet on your existing blanket.... Well, what can I say... It's a pain in the ass process no matter which brand you buy from. But I would recommendt the method of turning the duvet inside out. ... show more

This is a very nice duvet cover. It is attractive, soft and comfortable. However, there are some quirks: (1) there are oly two corner ties and they are sewn on the inside of the duvet, (2) the buttons are small and hard on the fingers when buttoning and unbuttoning, and (2) if you don't take it out of the dryer immediately upon finishing it will be most difficult to iron so that it looks like it did right out of the box. In fact, on that last point, I have another organic 100% cotton duvet cover that is very wrinkled when taken out of the dryer, but irons beautifully. However, if you are looking for an extra duvet so you can change out the look of your bed, this is a fine choice. ... show more

Only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because the twin duvet cover was sort of big for my twin comforter. But it was my own fault for not measuring the comforter before ordering and it did say twin XL so I should’ve known. Apart from that I still decided to keep it, I washed it and I absolutely love the feeling of it! Definitely cotton. It’s crispy but not too much so that it’s scratchy feeling. It regulates your temperature. With my old duvet cover + sheets I kept my my feet outside the blanket because I got too hot. But I’ve been fully laying under this duvet for 1 hour now and feel perfectly warm but not too hot like with my old sheets (and I live in SoCal so that says a lot) ... show more

I ditto the review about changing out bedding to organic, natural fibers. I now have a luscious organic lambs wool comforter and this was by far the best price for a good quality organic comforter cover. That it came with a pillow sham was a bonus! The fabric is very soft and it came out of the dryer just as soft and just as smooth, not hopelessly wrinkled. I now own three of these and I'm very happy with them. The first one I used for my wool comforter in the camper. We just returned from six weeks spent in the SW desert backcountry, complete with intense afternoon winds. Everything we owned was imbedded with red grit. This cover kept my wool comforter clean and it went thru the wash like a breeze. I'm happy. ... show more
