Without fail my hair growth is bananas. At one time I’d stopped taking these to test if it was the vitamin or hair care that helped. For a while my hair growth was like at a standstill. Suddenly seemed like even half inch was difficult to get to. I also realized as I just turned a late 40ish years old, that I have a bit of hair thinning at least towards my bangs/widows peak area. Now I wouldn’t mind not having a widows peak, but I’ve always had one. Supposedly you’re either born with the gene from the fathers side of genetics, or a widows peak due to balding later in life. The bit of thinning is very likely due to medications I take such as blood pressure meds. So since I can’t stop the meds, I started biotin back up. I have tried other mixed vitamins before that has biotin, and what felt like no results. Now usually in winter my hair growth isn’t as much but I started this vitamin and also a general vitamin D. So far, just by it being obvious as I’m not measuring my hair but it’s very obvious the past few months my hair is having a growth spurt. I also know because I have to shave my legs more often again. Now this may only be me but this specific biotin I take 1x daily in the morning and with the same brand I take 1x daily vitamin D. My hair growth sped up for sure. I know it’s said that peoples hair only grows like 1/4-1/2” per month, well just guessing if my hair was growing 1/4” then it absolutely went to more. If I had to guess, if it’s possible my hair growth is more like 3/4-1” per month. Again maybe that’s not physically possible but it’s obvious him at then the highest amount of growth. I also don’t have much shedding like I had been. I have normal shedding in the shower. I’m still working also on weight loss so I’m trying some generic gummies of apple cider vinegar which is supposed to help for many things but I just started those this week. The other things I do that work for me is I forget the brand but I’m using a very popular wet/dry hair brush. I have 2 of them so one I have hooked up in my shower and one in a drawer. I use the one in the shower to gently brush conditioner through my hair. I only use conditioner mid shaft to ends. I don’t want to have my hair oily so my bangs area to midshaft I only use a tiny bit like a dime or quarter size and I don’t get any conditioner purposely on my scalp. I have to wash my hair and scalp very throughly until I see no suds at the drain. If conditioner residue is on my scalp I tend to sweat in sleep. I don’t use the same shampoo and conditioner every time and just have several in my shower, usually using Hask brand. I use all of their scents. I have a ton of different brands but I keep going back to Hask. I cannot use a conditioner that I have a hard time brushing thorough and that brand works great for me. I use usually shampoos and conditioners that have biotin and caffeine in them with collagen. ... show more

I started taking this to help with my hair (prone to breakage), but have noticed an immediate improvement in my nails! I’ve only been taking the Biotin for about 11 days. I painted my nails on Saturday; today is Thursday and the gap between my cuticles and nail polish is twice as big as it normally is after 5 days! I don’t usually even let my nails get this long! They’re growing like crazy, and they feel stronger than before, as I’d normally have a couple broken ones by now. I just got my hair trimmed so verdict is still out on hair health improvement, but I’m excited to keep taking this supplement and see what happens! I love this product. After long Covid19 I started loosing so much hair from top of my head I was panicking. I could literally see my scalp. I bought right away pills BIOTIN 10,000 COllagen powder and BIOTIN SHAMPOO and Conditioner and BIOTIN MASK and also Biotin Serum. My hair started growing again and I don't care if they sticking now like needles... they GROWING!!! THANK GOD!!! Just Do not wear Hats, your scalp needs to breath Make sure you wash your hair like at least once a week. But better 2x a week. Washing it every day after COVID19 hair lose makes your scalp too dry. When my hair started to get brittle and my nails became ridged, I started taking Biotin, probably 5v-7 years ago. I tried them all; caps, tablets and now gel tabs. I prefer the gel tabs as they are smaller and easier to swallow. I used to take 10,000 iu’s a day but now I’m taking them twice a day for about a month now I can’t really say it’s made a difference but I’m faithful and hopeful to see a change… ... show more

I have advanced RA. On a TNF inhibitor which can cause hair loss and even complete hair loss. I have been taking this the last 6 months are so. Since then I started the therapy. I have absolutely a less than normal amount of hair loss. The texture of my hair has changed which I am not crazy about but definitely way better than mega hair loss.
