I have very sensitive skin, and most cleansers either dry it out or leave a tight feeling afterward — but not this one. It has a smooth, silky texture that turns into a soft foam and removes makeup easily without any irritation. My skin feels clean, fresh, and hydrated after every use. I really like that it’s unscented, which makes it perfect for sensitive or allergy-prone skin. Even around my eyes it feels gentle and doesn’t sting at all. I've been using this product for about a month now and really like it, I will probably repurchase when I run low. For me, it's effective as a general face cleanser and makeup remover in one. I typically wear a tinted spf lotion, light blush/eyeshadow and eye liner, and it removes it all, though I do spend a little extra time massaging it around my eyes. There's minimal lather, and I don't experience any irritation. There's no noticeable fragrance and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry, either. I thought the price was great for the size of the bottle, it will last me a while. For reference, I'm in my mid-40's, my skin type is moderately oily, but not prone to breakouts (except for some dietary triggers). I was scared to try this, honestly it’s expensive. But it’s the BEST I’ve ever tried, especially at removing makeup!! It doesn’t leave that dry, tight feeling on your face that a lot of other face washes do. It gets all my eye makeup off with a double cleanse too!

I absolutely love Bioderma products! I've been using Bioderma for it years and they have never disappointed me. I have extremely sensitive skin. I use Abolene makeup remover first to remove my makeup and then follow up with this bioderma Micellar cleanser to remove any left over excess makeup before doing my skin care routine. Not only does it remove all makeup but it is very affordable for the amount that you receive in a tube. A little goes a very long way. ... show more
