There are latches on two ends. I like the carrying handle on top. Two sections contain removable divided containers which is also very useful. Love these. The separator lifts out nicely. Love the size and depth. Problems: The clips break off easily. The clippers pop off and are hard to get back in. All clippers cine open very easily will everything falling apart and all over the floor. Have to use rubber brands to keep them together

The plastic is very brittle, the concept is sound and it works great for organizing things but I just wish it was made with a bit stronger plastic. Just don't bump it or drop it and you'll be fine. We used it to organize medical supplies while I was recovering from cancer surgery.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like the design. Stacking my items in one box is great. The problem is the clips that secure stack together are weak. I found out the hard way. I use it to store various HO train parts so what I use it for has little weight. The second box down had the clip unhook and well, a mess. The bottom 2 held when I picked it up but the top two came unhooked. When I checked it while empty it just fine. Put a little weight and I mean a little weight it was a disaster.
