These shocks are much better then the Rancho shocks I purchased last time. The ride is smoother and the height is adjustable making them the perfect fit on my 09 Off Road. I am totally impressed with them, and would recommend to all who need shocks!

I like the 5100's but could not figure out how to install these on a stock 09' Toyota Tacoma at the 2.5" setting. I dropped one setting down and was able to install them. Of course the performance is much better that stock and they are well worth the money but if there is a secret to getting the maximum advertised lift they should include that in the instructions or on their website. This is why I marked 4 stars instead of 5 ... show more

I've always had bilstein... Always upgrade from stock to 5100 on both Tacomas and 4runner! Got 175k miles out of forst set and 150k out of thee other's! And then some! Best! Probably could have went longer but replaced them because we live in the rust belt!

5100 series are incredible value for the money. I’ve put these on two Tacoma’s a 4Runner an FJ Cruiser a Sequoia and a Tundra. If your mostly on the pavement with the occasional offroad use these are a killer deal. If you’re doing more offroad maybe consider the 6100 series with 5160 rears. Lots of great reviews on these if you can stomach watching influencers. ... show more

Compared to the OEM's it's like night and day. I also have the same series for the rear and it's definitely recommended if you don't want to go lift or do anything crazy, just want a better smoother ride. This is your choice
