Turned out to be good buy. Took me a few hrs to build. Having 2 folks work on this together would help with time. Only issue was putting the bar and screw for the table to rise and lower. Didn't get the way it went on the bar. Better depiction on the drawing would have helped. But I figured it out. If they come out with a longer L Shaped with shelve options I'm getting that also. ... show more

It was not that simple of an assembly but should be easier with power tools. The quality is great and the height adjustment covers all heights you would need. The size is great but it comes in 3 parts but the grooves aren't that big so it seems fine. The surface material is ok, it retains stains and fingerprints and is a bit hard to clean. The wood came chipped from a few corners but other than that it was pretty good. ... show more

This desk has a lowkey intense set up process not because it’s hard but because the pieces are heavy. Altogether it took me just shy of an hour to complete but SO worth it!!! It turned out so cute, moves up and down seamlessly and has tons of desk space. There is a slight noise when moving it up and down and it beeps when you press a button but nothing obnoxious. On my very first time using it for a video call while standing I realized the desk was slowly lowering on it's own. I wasn't leaning on the desk and it would still lower without me even touching it. I had to periodically raise it during the call which I hope wasn't too distracting, but was definitely annoying. I have my computer case and 3 monitors on the desk which is a decent amount of weight, but well short of the advertised 180lb capacity. I don't think I'll take any more calls in the standing position which is unfortunate. The desk arrived well packaged with no shipping damage and was easily assembled (I suggest using your own wrench for the feet as the thin one they provide is annoying to use). The desktop doesn't align as well as I hoped, but in practice it's basically unnoticeable. The height at lowest setting is a bit higher than I prefer, but I knew this when I bought as it's listed correctly in the specifications. ... show more

A) Assembly - should take a little less than an hour if you're used to building furniture, but I could see how it could take some time if you're not used to it. Instructions had little tips to make sure you had the pieces in the right direction though B) You cannot get this this wet at the slightest where the boards meet! The condensation from my water glass dripped where the brown meets the black, I wiped it up, and it was warped the next day...definitely get what you pay for in that sense. I ended up just buying one of those large mouse pads to cover up most of the cracks so I don't have to worry about it as much. C)The basket that is supposed to be for below storage came smashed an unusable. D) A previous review mentioned its a pretty talk desk for sitting and I agree. I'm 6'0'' and its lowest setting is a few cm taller than I'd like it to be. ... show more

This desk is wonderful, my only complaint is that I wish there was a way to have the extension on the right instead of the left. I am right-handed and my mouse is on the right, but the arm rest is on the left with no way to attach it to the other side. I didn't realize this was a "left handed" desk.
