Features

  • Main Control Chip Features: This SKR Mini E3 V2.0 motherboard uses the STM32F103RCT6 main control chip, and its flash memory size is 256K

  • Hot-bed Mosfet: The hot bed MOS tube uses WSK220N04, low on-resistance, larger heat dissipation area, and reduce heat generation
  • Upgrade Features: Support BLtouch, filament detection, power-off resume, automatic shutdown, etc .; Increase the distance between the driving chip and the components to avoid the trouble caused by the heat sink

  • CB2 is working well, easier and better than CB1
Style: CB2
I recently reviewed this item but couldn’t figure out how to find/edit that review. I was having problems connecting via WiFi. I have since resolved the issue. The problem was unrelated to the CB2. It is functioning well now.

  • LOVE this board
Absolutely love this board. Incredibly versatile, incredibly powerful. I have this set up with a CB1 and 2209s, everything works great. The manual does a good job at pretty much covering everything, albeit, not phrased the best. Nonetheless, super flexible board for endless possibilities. Love all of the fan controls, stepper driver options, UART mode, DIAG for sensorless, USB, ethernet, etc etc. It truly covers everything for a potentially awesome and big build. I see some reviews talking about "I thought this would include grub screws", or "Doesn't run the printer on USBC power", and - cmon people, it's a controller board. It includes JST connectors, which I wasn't expecting, so that's awesome. And USB C power? I understand a laptop, but you're running 24v heaters and motors, controller, etc, how would this work over USBC? There's no where they mention you can RUN this board with USBC. Like people, do a little digging! Yes, you can use USBC to program and config, it won't power fans, motors, heaters, etc, it's enough power to program things before setting things up. And that makes sense. Regardless, great board, I've been very excited about using it, and it's been fine configuring and optimizing things for my build. New found love for BigTreeTech ... show more

  • Solid upgrade from CB1 with active development.
Style: CB2
This is a great upgrade from the CB1. While I haven’t tested it with webcam decoding/encoding, it logically outperforms the CB1. I’ve have it running on a BTT Manta EZ3D, and it runs smoothly without issues. The GitHub page for the Kllipper image is actively maintained, which is a big plus—thanks to BTT for keeping the community supported! ... show more

  • Amazing board, but came with corrupt firmware.
Style: SKR Mini E3 V2.0
First of, I want to say this board is amazing. It really was just a drop-in board, all the connections were the same. The problem arose when I tried printing something. It powered on, the screen said Marlin 2.0, I did a test heat and auto homed it, everything worked fine. Then I went to print something. It heated up perfectly, then proceeded to ram into the corner without stopping, causing the extruder belt to slip. I rechecked all the connection and they were fine. I decided to reload the firmware with Marlin 2.0.7 and it worked flawlessly. It was incredibly easy to re-flash the SD card, granted, I'm pretty experienced when it comes to 3d printers, but any beginner should be able to do it with all the YouTube videos about this. Also, I can FINALLY SLEEP, It's SILENT. Amazing. ... show more

  • Tragically limited USB bus. Cannot use external Raspberry Pi. MCU timeouts. Junk.
Style: Manta M8P V2.0
Unfortunately, these boards are junk if you need more than one USB peripheral, even with a powered USB hub. I build a lot of printers and normally use Octopus and Octopus Pro boards. I took a chance on this Manta with a CB2 without realizing the board only has two USB 2.0 ports, and trying to use a Beacon Probe and a USB camera overwhelms the limited USB bus causing MCU timeouts, despite increasing TRSYNC_TIMEOUT. External Raspberry Pi's also CANNOT be used with the Manta M8P as the USB port to connect to the MCU is hardwired to the CB1/CB2/CM4 interface. I will salvage the CB2 and use it to upgrade a BTT Pad 7. The Manta M8P is going in the trash, it has wasted far too much of my valuable time. ... show more

  • Easy installation of the board
Style: SKR Mini E3 V2.0
The board arrived well packaged. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found that a genuine BLTouch had been enclosed evidently as a gift. The board fit into the same place that the original 8-bit board was. Remove the 4 screws that hold the board in place, remove the old one and place the new board in it's place then reinstall the 4 screws. I haven't tested the board yet but I will update this review as soon as I do. ... show more
