Yeah most likely will not use most of these, but the six or so I use regularly were well worth the cost. For anyone doing this sort of work you know it is a repetitive task and can cause your thumb and hand to get sore holding these. Would love to see ones with a thicker handle? But for the price they are durable, quality stamps producing a great finish.

These stamps are working really well for me. They seem to be of good quality. Only issue is the grease on the stamps leave a dark mark upon the first couple uses. But, this is nothing that can’t be solved with a little wipe down before using them for the first time. I’d recommend these stamps for beginners who aren’t looking to spend a whole bunch of money yet.

I am new to the leather tooling world and this set of tools will be my first set. Upon inspection they seem to be a decent set of tools. I will use these to get me familiar with the leather tooling process and discover if this is the direction I want to go. That said, there are other tools out there (far more expensive) that might outshine these but for the money these cannot be beat in my opinion. I like them, I am glad I bought them. Perfect starter kit.

You get a lot of tools for the money, but sometimes quantity isn't everything. The textured tools seem good overall. There's some lack of definition on the print in some, so they'll probably need some more aggressive hammering, but they're passable given their price and how textured tools generally don't need utter perfection to work well. Some of the tools I received are relatively unfinished with burs and mold lines, and my flat bevelers came with a bit of stippling that while acceptable for practice and casual projects for novices on a budget, I will absolutely need to grind these down or buy better ones for more professional projects for a smooth finish. I had low expectations given the price here, but the smooth angle bevelers are your bread and butter for stamping, and being a flat surface, can and should be given some extra attention. It's why I can't mark this set as more than three stars for "easy to use;" imperfections in tooling are usually the result of error on the leatherworker, but it can be hard to tell if you're making mistakes if your flat tools have scuffs and textures. This is still a decent deal given how many tools of acceptable quality you get. It's a pretty decent set of patterns overall, too. That said, expect to need to potentially re-buy a number of them, and if you're really here for the smooth bevelers, do yourself a favor and just spend the money for a good set and come back for this or another set of stamps when you need the specialty patterns.

I purchased this set for an arts and crafts leather project at our church camp. Even the 6 year olds were able to use the punches with ease. It took about 8-10 times of pounding to get an image for the younger ones. Be sure to dampen the leather so it softens. The images come out deeper. Would highly recommend.

Stamps seems well made and sturdy. Gave these as a Christmas present for someone that is new to stamping and carving. He was very happy with the selection and I'm sure he will be adding more to as he discovers the joy of leather working. Great price and quality stamps. when using, leaves a great impression in the leather.
