This is an excellent way to upgrade your Gibson SG, and bonus, help cure neck dive. SG guitars often suffer from neck dive, due to the body being as lite as it is. This adds some weight and mostly cures that issue. It also work well for tremolo, not to mention looks great. The only down side is the cost…ouch. ... show more

I wanted a Bigsby for a Squier Tele because...well, because I wanted to play some surf and I didn't want to have to drill into a $150 Tele. I used this in conjunction with a Vibramate mounting plate so I was able to mount it with zero drilling, and it works and looks great. if you're looking to add some retro tremolo without having to tear your axe apart Bigsby is the way to go, and it just looks cool. ... show more

I replaced a cheap knock that had been installed on my 71 SG, It never worked right. This one comes back to zero every time. Smooth action and looks sharp. The directions and the install were straight forward. Buy it!

Thank you Arkansas Music for the great Bigsby B5 and delivered super fast by Fedex. I thought about buying one of many Bigsby knockoff which most likely fits a need at a certain price point. One of the reviewers of a knockoff mentioned the rough unfinished surface of the control arm, and that put me on to the real deal. The Bigsby is beautiful, with a solid weight to it and you know after admiring these for so many years I had to go for It. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

This thing is great! I put it on my Epiphone Les Paul 100 (with a vibramate) and it looks 100% better, fancier, sharper, vintager, awesomer. There is a little learning curve with restringing, but something that gets easier with time. THIS IS NOT FOR DIVE BOMBS. This is not a Floyd Rose type whammy. It is for great subtle whammys. Surprisingly it didn't affect tuning. Feels great, no structural problems. To top it off, this thing took 10 minutes to install. I would recommend this vibrato.
