This tool box is metal. That is the good part. The lid is folded/bent to shape of ends of box. Better boxes which cost more have the flaps at ends of lid welded. Imagine a cereal box that is not glued together. Entire box is flimsy. I'm ok with this for the back of a small tractor too replace a plastic box for which I made this purchase. I would not be ok for a tour for tools in the shop. Use and cost made my decision. ... show more
