I have recently become quite a handygirl & it feels good to save $ along the way. Needed a simple tool box that could store some hand tools for car/home repairs. Didn’t want anything too bulky or heavy. Plan on leaving it inside my car so I appreciate its simple design. This size & style option is best to store your most favorite tools. Currently, this holds some screwdrivers, a ratchet, and lug nuts. I would like for this toolbox to have more height since a few tools are bulky when thrown into here if on-the-go, which makes locking difficult. Lock material seems rather cheap and thin but it is secure enough for the amount & weight of items inside. Satisfied :) You could use this toolbox for many other DIY projects as well. ... show more

By no means is my 98 v70 XC cramped!!! But im the guy that prepares for away-from-home incidents. So i boought this toolbox to cram among a full size 16" spare, 2 heavy chains, caution triangle, 10 bottles of water, granola bars, a length of rope, reflective vests, work gloves, oil rags, rubbermaid cont of rubber gloves. I TELL YOU this toolbox FIT. At least up until i needed to fit an 18" 12g BANG BANG for an 8hr trip. It is a squash toolbox, fairly well built, the latch fit up until a week or two later. but with that, i chose to just squeeze it back to where it should be. Good tool box, fits a full socket and ratchet set, a 25ft tape, 12" 16oz hammer, oil filter wrench, 2 crescent wrenches, my leatherman, vicegrips. recommended! ... show more

Nice inexpensive little tool box for a small assortment of tools. Thin gauge metal, will dent or disform if dropped. I liked it. Returned it because I went a different route. But I would have kept for sockets but no longer needed it. Would make a great child's first tool box.

Replaced my 30 lb tool box I'm my RV with a complete tool kit in case plus this box for special tools. ( Electrical, large channel locks, spare bulbs etc. If you are doing a job away from your tool source this is a great box for taking just what you may need in one trip.
