Fit perfectly in my Harbor Freight Pittsburgh Engine Hoist. All I had to do was bolt the new cylinder in place. The double action lever is much quicker than the original single action one. The extended length is also a bit longer, so the boom now raises a bit higher.

I left my harbor freight engine hoist out in the rain supporting an engine I was working on. The repair dragged on and the shaft of the Jack in the hoist got rusty and the Jack didn't work anymore when I finally retrieved the hoist to use on something else. I needed the hoist quickly and was able to buy this Jack for relatively little money and it bolts right into the hoist and just works. No fabrication needed. This jack is a direct replacement for my pre-2011 2-ton hydraulic jack. Another reviewer mentioned that the retracted length is very slightly longer so the lifting arm doesn't store quite as compactly. That's the only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
