This is a beautiful cover, kind of velvety and very soft to touch, much nicer than the fabric of the original bag. I will say, the gray color has a noticeable bluish tint to it. That sort of surprised us when we unwrapped it, but it actually matches our living room so we kept it anyway. Soft material - long zipper However - - - this does NOT fit the XL. It even said it was "big Joe large" on the packaging. I decided to remove some of the stuffing in my xl to fit this one over it as the xl was a tad too large in my new apartment. Of course it was an absolute disaster but I made it work. Pretty sure I'll find fluf for the next year... This cover is more round than oblong so it more for sitting than laying back like the XL is. However, good zipper and nice fabric. I realizee that I needed a replacement cover after an unfortunate incident with a smelly guest 😬 I had to wash the original cover that came with the bean bag chair that I bought and I couldn't use it for the rest of the night. Never again. I recommend this for anyone with a Big Joe bean bag chair.
