Here it is. Very heavy box. Awkward. I want a replacement lotus chair or at least a new filler pack. I am posting pictures of the chair I received from Amazon, 1st & 2nd pictures in this review is how it looks unbox and tie up filler to lotus chair. The 3rd picture is of it after a week of sitting, I worked it trying to fluff it and get the filler to expand. No Luck. The reason I purchased this chair, was my friend had bought one at Sam's Club and its AWESOME. I Also posted the 4th picture of the chair my friend purchased at Sam's Club so buyers can see they are cool, if expand correctly. I think they are having a quality control issue with the filler not expanding as it should with this chair. All the reviews I saw were bad. However, the one my friend purchased was near perfect, it was as pictured on box. I saw one in person that's why I purchased this Big Lotus Chair. They do Shed but come on its faux fur. I filled out info on the auto return here on Amazon, but I have not heard anything back yet. If Things change, my review will change but for now it's a huge thumbs down. Not the seller's fault but they need to stand by products they sell from Big Joe. WAITING TO HEAR BACK PLEASE! UPDATE 12-30-22- The company I purchased from is awesome with refunding me for this chair. I just received notice today that they are taking care of the financial end. However, I am confused on if I need to send the defective chair back to get another one or what. I am going to follow up.

So this is much bigger than expected, took up a little more room than I had planned in my living room. Kids love it can fit 2 to 3 kids comfortably around age 8/9. My son even loved sleeping on it

This is the perfect bean bag chair for my pre-teen daughter. It comes stuffed already - you just pull it out of the box and let it expand. The furry cover is separate, but very easy to put on. In fact I forgot to put it on right away, and still found it went on easily even after the foam had expanded for a few days. Would just suggest purchasing a 5lb bag of bean bag foam filler and stuffing that in (after initial expansion, and after putting on the furry cover) to make the chair look more like the picture, because - as others hand commented - it doesn’t come stuffed enough. There is a zipper the internal cover, so you can easily add stuffing. In fact, I was able to insert the entire 5lb bag of foam filler, as wrapped, and then cut and remove its cover within the bean bag, so that the stuffing all went in at once and not all over my floor in messy little pieces. Only (minor) problem encountered was that the zipper on the internal liner didn’t have a pull - but a safety pin stuck through did the trick to pull it. This was a one person job and it turned out GREAT! P.s. The dog loves it too.

I was thinking to get a bag chair for a long time and this brand caught my attention. I chose Lotus as my choice and really loved its It’s super comfortable to sit on, feels like a jelly bean. I placed it in my balcony however super scared that the rain with damage it. The fabric is super nice. All the air was vacuumed so it had a bit of smell when I opened it, but it doesn’t matter. Love the chair! Will order a second one

I read some of the amazon reviews as I considered buying this item - mixed reviews that complained about the product being different than pictured. I ordered anyway, hoping to have a more positive experience. Unfortunately, luck and hope did not overcome the reality that this product is just not as advertised. The product I hoped to get is the tear-drop shape in the product pictures. What you actually get is a saggy shapeless and unattractive blob. I included a picture of the item - a full 7 days after opening and assembling (so plenty of time for the foam to fully expand). I will now have to figure out how to return an item which no longer fits in it's shipping boxes. It promises to be a huge pain in the...

The Lotus chair from Big Joe comes with instructions that advise it could take as many as seven days for the foam filling to fully expand. (Wish we had read that before we tried to set up on Christmas Eve. The big reveal the next morning was a bust.) The problem is even two weeks later- the cool Lotus chair shape pictured in the product ad is never quite there and without constant fluffing and reshaping- it looks like the picture I’ve posted. Not the cool, fireside loungers I was hoping for. Also- this white cover sheds as though a pack of white shaggy dogs are living with us. Literally- white lint in every corner of the house and coating our clothes. The children think they’re useful as crash-pads though. So- two stars for the entertainment factor.

A former Big Joe bean bag owner I never excepted this one to be so heavy!. Heavy and bulky don’t go together and I am disappointed in my purchase. My 3 cats like it but keeping it clean will not be possible. Merry Christmas kitties!
