I bought the size I bought (large) more based on the dimensions for where I wanted to put it rather than the photos. It is meant for floor-level seating in front of an old CRT TV on a low stand. After buying it, I regretted not getting the medium size because I noticed how high up the people sit in the photos. The photos give the impression that the “Fuf” is really tall and fairly firm, able to support the weight of an adult before collapsing. That is absolutely NOT the case. The pillow itself is very loosely stuffed with some kind of memory foam. Unless you really fluff it up so all the padding is under your booty, you’re going to sink down to the floor and be engulfed in the pillow with only maybe an inch—not more than 2—of compressed foam under your bum. It is extremely comfortable. The foam is nice enough that that thin layer is very supportive and your body is held up by the surrounding pillow. I like to shift more material to the back and kind of lay into it. You do feel a bit like a dog or a cat, fluffing out the bedding just right before you snuggle in, but it’s worth it once you get it just right, if you don’t plan on getting up for a while. ... show more

Got the XXL in Navy Blue corduroy with the leather accents — very nice! Perfect & classy for our loft that’s casual with a TV. I think it looks similar to the picture, even after a few hours (not yet at the recommended 48 hrs expansion time). Not sure why other people thought theirs looked bad or understuffed? Tried it for a few hours — comfortable & plenty of room for me, the wife, and our grandbaby. The grandbaby loves romping around and being silly on it with us, very cushy. (She’s 1 1/2 yrs old) We got the beanbag idea from a vacation stay, where the owner had a movie room with bean bag chairs. Our daughter loved it, so we wanted that theme. This Big Joe is much more comfortable & stylish — highly recommend for a movie room. If on the fence about the higher price, go with the corduroy & leather XXL, it looks great and you only need one. ... show more

Can't even begin to express how much we LOVE this bean bag!!!! It is very well made, the inner liner is durable and the outer cover as well! If i had any kind of complaint it would be for the outer cover to be softer but that's an easy fix as there are 100's of options out there to purchase! I was hesitant, and honestly procrastinated on this purchase for quite some time! After literally hours of research and reading reviews, I finally chose We have an extremely small home, so I was a little concerned about the size.... thankfully i took the chance and bought it!!! It's almost like having a giant fluffy bed right in our living room! We have actually traded up from a queen size pillow top in bedroom to sleep on our bean bag every single night since purchasing it! It fits 2 grown adults comfortably (I'm 5'4 130lbs and he is 6'4 190 lbs)! Anybody that sits on it ends up asking where we got it, how much it cost etc. I have 2 friends that have already ordered theirs as well!!!! We're currently looking to purchase a new home, at which time we plan to purchase 1 or maybe even 2 more rather than purchasing a new couch!!!! If you're going to purchase a bean bag....
