This chair arrived much earlier than estimated which was great! The box arrived in pristine condition and has designs on it so it can be reused as a fort for smaller kids ! The Chair itself seemed smallish, but I'd ordered it as a gift for a kid so that was ok, however I sat in it also and it was so comfortable and perfect size (I'm 5'3) it looks a bit underfilled, hower when it is sat in the inner materials redisperse filling all areas for just the right amount of support. I wish it had come with additional filling for later as we all know it will eventually lose some volume as expected, but overall I love this chair. The price may be slighly high but I would still absolutely buy this chair again. Perfect for children and petite to average sized adults !! ** If it is given care and not jumped in/on or sat into roughly, this chair should last a good while. But may tear with usage that is too rough.

Received this in January and it is now June. The chair has lost some plumpness but is still comfy and serviceable and that's really all it needs to be. Have no plans to refill the beans atm, might have to do so at the end of the year, but we'll see, I guess. Only critique I have would be the compartments on the right side meant to hold your stuff. The compartments are a bit "tight" and also deep. Meaning you kind of have to squeeze things inside in order to fit, even a small notebook, and if you put a phone in, it'll probably sink to the bottom because the pocket is deep. The arms of the chair, however, are pretty sturdy and I often find myself placing my remote and phone on the arms instead of using the pockets. I'm 5'2, 100 pounds, the chair is a good fit for me, but I imagine taller people might feel uncomfortable, although my dad, who is 5'11, sat in it for a bit, had a hard time getting up lol but he said it was comfy. I recommend this chair for a young or short person lol.

Overall I do like this bean bag but Iโve found 3 complaints to keep in mind when purchasing. First the bean bag comes lacking in stuffing. Not by a lot but enough that I had to choose between adjusting the stuffing so that the backrest was packed enough to lean back while not having much stuffing to keep my behind off the floor. The other option is moving the stuffing to pad the bottom comfortably but then having little stuffing to lean back without feeling as if youโll topple over. So expect to buy more stuffing to better fill out the entire bag. Second the zipper was difficult to open in my opinion. The instructions advise using a paper clip or key ring to thread through the zipper since it doesnโt have a small handle as most zippers do. Regardless I felt as if an excessive amount of force was needed to get the zippers to open. And lastly the stuffing that comes with the bag is a nuisance to get out of the bag when trying to wash it. Itโs small foam balls that has a strong static cling. So it sticks to your hand, clothes, the bean bag, the floor. Just a hassle overall to empty the bag and stuff it back up. In the end I have just purchased a different stuffing that I intend to swap in and fill the bean bag with. Those things aside. Itโs a quality bag, comfortable and the pocket is very convenient.

Very comfortable to sit in but I can imagine not quite if one is big in size/tall (I am 5'2" and wear an American size 4). the biggest issue for big/tall people would be, first the seat is not that big (for me it is just right but if someone is bigger, probably would find the seat is too small) and it is quite low so your legs would not be able to put in 90 deg siting position (shorty like me is just perfect and just stretch out in a lazy way). Although the back support is quite good; but the beans would get squeeze away at the bottom when you sit on it so the heavier you are, the more foam beans would be disperse to other part of the chair and leaving nothing at the bottom (I usually shake the bean chair a bit like it is a pillow whenever i stand up to go get a drink or something, so to keep the shape in place)

I have dreamed of a bean bag chair since I was a wee boy. I needed one. I desired it carnally. It was my greatest dream in life, reclined in bliss in a chair of beans watching cinema to my hearts content. I finally made that dream a reality when I purchased Big Joe. Or so I thought. You see that's when the trouble began. Like any abusive relationship it started out first with love bombing. Big Joe wowed me with his cushiony back support and cup holder. I thought we were a match made in heaven. I even drew pictures on him to mark him as my own. Welcome him into the family. But those days were few. Soon Big Joe began to crumble under the pressure of being a committed partner. Daily use had left him worn, dirty, and deflated in a matter of months. I cried for my boy, he seemed to be struggling. I assumed I just wasn't providing enough support in return. And if I only filled him with the same cushiony love he gave to me he would again do the same. That's when the cycle began. Fill. Sit. Deflate. Fill. Sit. Deflate. Fill. Sit. Deflate. Big Joe was a shell of his former self at this point. His cup holder now inaccessible do to his inability to hold a solid form at any given moment. He needed to be propped up in a corner, with an added cushion on top so that you didn't sink directly down to the floor when you sat on him. He offered no more joy. No more support. No more love. He was gone. He had been for a long time. And now I need to let go. I must replace Big Joe. His beans of styrofoam displeased me from the beginning. If only I had noticed the red flags. Perhaps his bright red exterior should have been an indicator. But I have never been one to judge a book by its cover. I will miss the love we once shared Big Joe. I wish you the best.

Chair design is fine and size of product is fine- a bit small for adults but for kids perfect size. HOWEVER- the filling included is terrible and went flat in less than a week. My 50 lb. 5-year-old sat in it for a few hours a day, normal use and it was flat within a week. I ordered some shredded memory foam to refill it, which worked great. But the original filling continues to go flat and break down. In 3 months I have spent another $30 to $40 on shredded memory foam to refill it. The styrofoam balls it comes with are not a sturdy filling whatsoever. Then the stitching on the front began to come apart and every time someone sat down it would shoot out tiny styrofoam ball filler into the floor. I would not by this chair again. If you do by shredded memory foam to refill, get a good brand because on of the refills I bought was terrible quality and one was not. One was solid shredded pieces, the other was garbage, half shredded memory foam, half memory foam DUST and DEBRIS. In any case, this char is far far far from being with the money when you factor in the refills you will need and the durability.
