Description

All well-loved bean bags go flat with use, but not to worry! You can order our handy Single Pack bean refill to bring your awesome Big Joe back to life whenever you need to. Our virgin polystyrene beans are 100% recyclable. Each bag contains 75 liters of rejuvenating beans. The amount of beans you need will depend on the size of your chair and how flat it is: small chairs may need 1-2 bags, while larger chairs may need 2-3. For child safety and durability reasons, all Big joe bean filled chairs have two zippers with their pulls intentionally removed before shipment. To open your Big Joe, place a paperclip into the first zipper head, pull to open, and then repeat on the second zipper. Detailed instructions can be found on the warning label attached to your Big Joe. And, you can use our refill packs for other reasons: packing material, arts and crafts, you name it!

I have bought these quite a few times to use as filling for large floor pillows I make. They work great, and unlike fiberfill they don't smash down. This is a great brand use them everytime. I made these for a friend's grandkids for Christmas, and have made six for our grandkids.

My daughters beanbag was on the floor. Now it’s back full. I’ll suggest the following: -do it outside -turn bean bag upside down if it’s a chair style and shake all the beads to the bottom then fill . - get help. Have someone to open the beanbag while another person pour. - beads are soft. - one bag is enough i didn’t use the full bag either . -UPS delivered . Big box but it’s light as a feather . A few beads were out but that’s expected Overall- satisfied and now the chair is back plush :) ... show more

emptying the contents of the refill was a lot easier and less messy than other reviews had me believing. Didn't use a paper towel roll just cut off a corner of the bag and started dumping the refill beads into the big joe opening letting gravity and squishing the bag like a bellow to work the beads out of the refill container and into the BigJoe. After everything fell out that was going to, there was a Lot left stuck by static electricity inside the bag, and a couple good pumps of baby powder into the bag and shaking it up solved that. The rest now just pours out into the Joe. Works well, but I can tell its going to need this same treatment fairly often even for a 5 and 7 yr old to sit on. That brings me to why this is a 3 star review. Considering how easily compressed this foam is, these refills cost too much for what they deliver. The Big Joe was not cheap to begin with. Not impressed with the cost to refill it. But, it does do the job. YMMV, good luck with your own refill, helps to have a 2nd pair of hands but could be done solo if needed. Just more frustrating and potentially more mess afterwards. ... show more
