I have never written a negative amazon review before but I had to this time. My girlfriend and I bought this table because of all the great reviews. We opened the box to find that the side of the table had been chipped as well as a bad chip on one of the legs with a visible piece of wood that had broken off and left a sharp splintery edge. 1 out of 16 screws were missing. There is a minor dent on the table surface as well. BUT, I had to still rate this table a 5/5. Here are my reasons: 1) the table itself is amazing. and it's not the company's fault that it came damaged in transit. So if it arrives without damages, I highly recommend it. I thought it was really silly when my partner recommended a coffee table that lifts up and I thought it would feel flimsy. But nope, this is a very solid table. 2) Bidiso customer service reached out and was extremely helpful. They took full ownership of the problem and offered a more than fair compensation for the damage. I was very impressed by their follow-up. 3) The table is very easy to assemble. It took me 10 minutes with an Allen wrench while my girlfriend sat there watching tv ... show more

This coffee table ships with all of the parts inside of the coffee table. What I found interesting was the fact that the legs were packaged in a white garbage bag, and upon opening them, found out that 3 out of 4 legs were scratched to heck. There was no bubble wrap or anything to keep the legs from banging together, and thus being scratched during shipping. I don’t want to deal with customer support or anything so I put it together and the table is sturdy and heavy at that. It opens and closes really nicely, and the finish on the table looks great. My only complaint is the scratched legs, which, now that it’s put together, it is barely noticeable. Overall I really like this table and am happy with it, but I think they should figure out a new way to package this for shipping. I don’t know if the garbage bag was a one time thing, but the hardware was also just in a ziploc bag. Almost made me feel like I received a used table. ... show more

I’ve been wanting a coffee table for a while and this table definitely became my favorite. I like this table so much especially the color and the structure. The design of it is just simple yet beautiful. The table was very easy to assemble, it didn’t take me long to do it. It’s very nice to have it in my living room and it’s super useful. I love the fact that it has room on the bottom for storage so that I can put stuff in it. It still seems sturdy even if there’s stuff on it. It’s perfect to have a cup of tea on this table with my family and friends. I think this table was definitely worth the money for its quality and design. If you have a smaller space, need extra storage, and prefer simple assembly, this is the table for you!!! Is definitely smaller than normal coffee tables, but this table works perfectly for a smaller space. The extra storage was a must and this was one of the view styles that was visually appealing with the whole table acting as storage, versus just a part of the table. Like another review mentioned, the table top closes quite aggressively until it starts slow closing, so I recommend not closing the table when you have drinks or food on the table. Not a big deal but something to note. Regardless, assembly is simple--you just have to screw four (4) screws per leg and that's it! It's only been a week since receiving and assembling, but we love it so far :) ... show more
