Handlebars are lightweight and very rigid. Not cheap soft metal. Bars were a bit long for me, so I cut 2” off with a hacksaw. Took awhile as the metal was hard and the bars were thick. Better quality than I expected.

    • Feels sturdy, looks symmetric, comfortable to use and provides lots of space for accessories.
I’ve been curious about H bars, and decided to try this in place of the fairly flat moustache bar that came with my bike as it felt a tad narrow and I couldn’t fit my preferred mirrors on them. The sweep angle for the grips is a little narrow, but I found a comfortable angle for these. It feels as if I could cut off about 5-12mm (1/4 to 1/2in) off each end. Based on some older reviews, I was concerned about how symmetric these would be, but they look well built when I put them on my countertop, no matter which way up I put them. These bars not only give my wrists a more neutral angle, they allow me to sit more upright, which is better for my back and neck, and there is a ton of space for accessories, including the mirrors I prefer, which use clamps on bars inboard of the grips. I was able to eliminate the add-on accessory bar I was using. If you don’t need the space for accessories, you can wrap bar tape around the upper sweep of the bars for an additional grip area. Note, if your bike has a bar or stem-mounted light that puts it on the lower bar, the upper bar may block it, depending on the light’s height and the rotational orientation of the grips you prefer. ... show more

    • Fixed my carpal tunnel and arthritis issues.
These are a successful knockoff of Jones Loop bars at less than half the price. They are the same handlebar as AkiiGer Bike Riser Handlebar that I bought a couple years ago and have used offroad for hundreds of miles since then. (Those AkiiGer bars aren't offered in black anymore; hence my interest in these.) They are durable (I'm 215 lbs and ride offroad in Utah mountains) and have a 45 degree backsweep that saved my wrists from carpal tunnel and arthritis pain that was so bad with other bars that I couldn't lift a glass of water without visibly wincing and almost dropping it. I will never ride another bike for more than 10 minutes without this design of bars and a 45 degree backsweep. The bonus of these bars is that they offer a lot more tubing for phone, speedo, horn/bell, and handlebar bag. ... show more
