I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this one. These are EXCELLENT! A few years ago I tried to buy some black out curtains but they were way too expensive. When I saw these and I saw you could return them if you didn't like them I gave them a try. I am VERY happy how they turned out. The room is basically pitch black even in broad daylight. The only light that comes in is from the edges, which could be fixed if you were a vampire and you really needed it, but that is not the fault of the curtains. The curtains also feel like they are made out of very high quality material, as well as the rings that hold them up. I am tempted to go through and replace all the curtains in my house with these. They do the job. In the words of Maverick, "don't think, just buy". I tried adding pictures but it is very difficult to get an accurate representation of how well they worked with the brightness correction of a phone camera.

These are my first blackout blinds but they do the job so good that I do not need to purchase any others. To start, it was a very simple install and the blinds didn't come with any sort of foul / chemical smell. There were zero stains or imperfections that I could find out of the box. After using it for a few weeks, it definitely blocks out the sun as it is thick and the side which faces the sun is black. It doesn't make the room perfectly dark unless you buy the blinds which touch the floor, but it makes it dark enough to where you can take a nap easily midday. Highly recommend and will purchase again if I need another set of blackout blinds.

Great product - does exactly what is advertised. For us, it has cut the heat & sun coming in the room 100%! Added bonus is the noise cancelling aspect. I've been over-sleeping lately since I bought these because I don't hear the irritating landscapers or my neighbor's motorcycle. Unreal! I NEED the rest too, I have several chronic illnesses, and deep sleep is critical. We live in the Southwest. It is 100 degrees out during the day already. I don't have the run the AC as much either. I cannot say enough GREAT things about this product! Happy with price point as well. Reasonable for what the product delivers.

We got the curtains because the dining room gets a lot of sunlight all day long and it bothers. My mother she is 80 years old and the sunlight hurts her eyes. So I got the room darkening curtains to keep her eyes covered in a sense she loves them. She has never been happier she loves the color she loves the texture the feel way they just sit along the wall. I also learned a little trick you get old toilet paper rolls and put them at the top between each loop and it gives you a perfect spacing so. It gives you a nice separation line all the way across. So you don't get bunched up?

They do not wrinkle and I open and close them daily. They block out the light and look cute open. Note one pair for a different room are not thermal and I did not know that I bought a different style. Something to note when you are clicking on them. The non thermal are fine too but i like the thermal better.

Loved these blackout curtains! If I leave them closed I would probably wake up late every morning. I’m a first time mom and when baby sleeps, I sleep with her. These curtains do the job inexpensively. The one complaint I have is mine came laced with the pungent aroma of dollar store laundry detergent. Do they wash these before packaging? Or did I get someone else's returned curtains? Who knows. I had to run them through the wash to get rid of the smell. Beware.
