I bought these curtains for my office at work. I'm a school counselor and I wanted to add these curtains for privacy so I would be able to work on paperwork and eat lunch in peace. It has definitely helped to decrease the amount of students and staff that come to stare in my window at me. The curtains are semi-sheer. You can see that there is a light on in my room and kind of see the desks. However, you can't see if I am sitting at my desk or not. I also can't see out from across the room into the hallway. Light comes in from the hallway through the curtains a little, but it's not that bad. I think it's the perfect amount of sheerness to create privacy while also letting light in. The media could not be loaded. It took me forever to find the perfect curtains for my bay window. These are the perfect size. I wanted them to let light in but filter people seeing in when lights are turned on. These blow nicely in the wind, they help my chimes make beautiful noise. They look rich, and beautiful. Polyester and linen make them so nice. I washed them already and hung them up right away. Not a wrinkle in sight. Just gorgeous! If your thinking about buying them do it.
