My husband and I asked for linen duvet covers from another brand on our registry. When we received them, they had buttons. Our feet were constantly tangled, we constantly had to re-button them., the white duvet was protruding out of the cover at all times unless we carefully fixed it nightly, and we constantly had to rebutting the buttons. It was a nightmare that made going to bed and being in bed unpleasant. We ordered these duvet covers instead to replace them and with the zipper, ALL of those problems have been solved. I rarely notice the white zipper. The duvet stays put inside the cover, it needs the occasional fluff but nothing serious, and I’m not constantly fighting with foot tangle, one of my greatest pet peeves. I knocked off 1 star for softness but believe they will get softer over time and we intent to have them for a while. They aren’t so bad that it’s effected my sleep or any such thing. I didn’t have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised with how good this duvet is! Love the off white color… I was scared it would be too warm for my cool toned home but it’s just right. Also love that I can just shake it a little and the wrinkles disappear. I haven’t steamed it yet (because I’m lazy) but I’m sure that will achieve a crisp look! The media could not be loaded. Nice quality and looks great. Love the texture of the fabric and yet it is soft and comfy. I have an extra lofty insert that helps make it cozy. I ordered the king size for a low profile queen bed. I like the extra side coverage.
