Worked perfectly on a nitrogen cylinder with a CGA 580 valve on it. I used it to refill the accumulator on my porsche air suspension system. (closed system, nitrogen filled). With this regulator set and a small adapter it was a cakewalk. If continual pressure adjustments were necessary, I would recommend adding some kind of thread lubricant to the threads where the regulator T-handle/plug threads into the regulator assembly. Once pressurized and increasing pressure, it becomes uncomfortably snug in those threads, albeit smooth. just an observation made after using. saved me potentially thousands from a porsche dealer ... show more

*** 2 stars taken off because I bought 2 and both has the right pressure gauge cracked per my photos. Amazon is taking them back no issues, but this is for sure frustrating and I'm hoping the third one I get doesn't have this issue. They're packaged very well so I think it's just bad QC at the factory. ** Update: third gauge set received, this time both gauges had cracked window edges. I'm just going to keep one and live with it for the price... ** Update 2: customer service reached out promptly to remediate my experience, and assured me they're looking into the manufacturing problem. Giving 1 star back for great customer service. --------- I'm reviewing the 800 PSI version, which the product description says has a max output of 700psi. I can't speak to the 600 PSI version. For HVAC pressure test, I need to test between 550-600 PSI, so I bought the 800PSI version. In my preliminary quick test, the pressure release valve opens right at 700 PSI, and closes again somewhere between 630-650 PSI (see photos). This is more than enough for what I need, but I believe you can take off the pressure relief valve and adjust it higher if needed. Accuracy wise, the gauge reads almost exactly what my Yellow Jacket gauge reads, so no issues there. I used a drop of HVAC oil before inserting the knob, which is pressure rated. Worked great and didn't have issues with turning the knob all the way to 700 PSI and beyond. The knob can definitely go further so no issues there. Overall incredible value for the money, minus the cracked gauges QC issues. ... show more

Wanted a way to test A/C systems without using (wasting) freon. So got this and a small bottle of Nitrogen to pressurize the system. Works okay. Do not have any idea if gauges are right, nothing to test against. I just set the pressure @ 100 psi. Sould be roundabout there. 😁 The other gauge tells what left in the bottle. Unless it's broke, it will have some reading. It works good for that purpose. And the price was okay for what I needed. ... show more

Surprises at the durability of the manifold. The hose is trash, but a nitrogen manifold for that price is unheard of, especially to be so strong.

The neck is short and it’s not a precision instrument, but if you just need a cheap functional regulator this will work fine.
