Most of the reviews online for this are "Vine customer reviews" after receiving this free, so of course the reviews are going to be biased, mine isn't. PROS: the price is honestly hard to beat compared to other groove sharpeners out there. CONS: Instructions would be nice. It comes with several sized sharpeners, but I have no idea which one to use on my wedge and I don't know if using the wrong type of sharpener will hurt my club. It's also very uncomfortable to hold. I had to really press down to get any metal shavings to come off (the only way I know if it's working or not). There's no way to comfortably hold it. Would I buy it again, absolutely. You can't beat it for the price, but it sure would be nice if the maker added instructions/suggestions? and made a way to hold it comfortably. Sadly since it's the cheapest option on the market they don't have a reason to improve their sharpener. ... show more

I like the idea of sharpening my grooves and hopefully prolonging the life of my wedges. If you take off too much material then the club might not conform to PGA standards, but that doesn't really matter to me because I'm not a pro and no one ever checks my clubs. It works great for cleaning stubborn material from the grooves but I can find a way to actually sharpen the grooves. It doesn't seem to remove much material and I don't notice much of a difference. I opened the package to find the case that holds the sharpener had no lid. So it was just open case and sharpener. The ends looked very fragile and used. Maybe I got a bad one that happened to loose the lid while being packaged. Not sure what happened but I sent it bad soon as I opened it I created the return. ... show more
