Obviously less reception than with original antenna, but I mostly use satellite radio which uses a separate antenna. For the price it’s a value buy, plus it looks better than the factory one and works just as good. It’s seems that it’s going for last. Well made and good quality. Installed a brand new radio so wanted to update the antenna. However I do not recommend this product. The install list had no instructions. The adapters were not labeled so I had to try every one several times and still had a questionable fit. Signal reception is poor and channels drop constantly. Reinstalled my original antenna and have no signal issues. Too short for practical and consistent reception. Don't know if I should return it or toss it.

I recently purchased this car antenna, drawn in by its promising features like superior AM/FM reception, durable materials, and easy installation. While it has some strong points, my experience with it has been a mixed bag, landing it a solid 3 stars. The antenna’s design is sleek, with a cool carbon fiber texture and an American flag pattern that adds a patriotic flair. It’s made of aluminum alloy, which feels sturdy, rust-resistant, and capable of handling various weather conditions. The short 4.72” design is practical, reducing the risk of damage in tight spaces. Installation was straightforward—no drilling or cutting required. However, the included adapters, despite their variety made the setup look clunky. It felt like I was piecing together a makeshift solution rather than using a polished product. The adapters didn’t seem to integrate seamlessly, giving the antenna an afterthought vibe, like something I cobbled together myself. As for performance, the claim of “perfect reception” doesn’t quite hold up. While it’s decent, the signal quality is noticeably weaker than my factory antenna. It does reduce noise and has good anti-interference, but the reception isn’t as crisp or reliable as I’d hoped, especially for AM stations. Great upgrade from the factory antenna I bought this antenna to replace the original one on my Tahoe because the factory antenna wasn’t picking up stations very well anymore. This one works way better — the signal is clear, and I can actually listen to my favorite stations again without static. Installation took maybe a minute and for the price, it’s honestly a solid upgrade. Definitely worth it if your old antenna isn’t doing the job anymore.
