Blew this up the first time in our playroom without water and it was a fun winter activities with the slide! Today we used water for the first time and it was a lot of fun. I wish they’d designed it so the bottom could stay inflated and let the water warm up a bit as hose water from a well is really cold but it’s fine and on a hot day, no one seems to mind. My grands love this slide! We originally purchased a used one on FB Marketplace, but after 4 years with us and 2 years with the previous owner, it got worn on the bottom and wouldn’t hold water. I’d say six years of use was excellent! We tried a couple other slides that just didn’t compare and thankfully I was able to find this one again. I highly recommend it!

You’ll never get it in there, but it’s the thought that counts. We just dried it out and then folded it up and put it in a large storage bin. Even the kids that hate getting their face wet will have fun! We run the water for about 30 minutes and then use squirt guns to save on water. I wish the landing zone was a couple feet longer because it gets slammed into over and over. But it seems to be sturdy construction, so hopefully it holds up for a long time. The fabric is thick and comes with a patch for every color. UPDATE: after leaving this out all summer, we’ve finally put it away. It was too time consuming to put away between uses, plus the kids wanted to be on it every day. So I scooped out water for the plants and let my grass die this summer. All for a great cause. The colors are faded, but no one cares. There is a small tear in the bottom, but water doesn’t leak out of it, and we just put some flex tape on it. One of the loops on the bottom (for staking it down) has ripped off, but that was my fault for trying to drag the thing with water still in it. We actually didn’t stake it down, because the ground was too hard, but it can tip if the kids aren’t careful at the top. Overall very pleased with this investment and I’m sure the kids will be begging for it to come back out in the spring. Update 2: We have to retire this slide. Don’t let that stop you!! It paid for itself in one summer. The kids were on it literally every day for anywhere from 10minutes to 5 hours! But leaving it out in the elements didn’t serve it well. The small tear from repeated pounding at the bottom of the slide was fine with a bit of flex tape on it. What killed it was when the waterproofing on the underside started flaking off and it didn’t hold water anymore. I was tempted to try from flex spray, but the backing falling off compromised the strength of the fabric and it ripped. Honestly, it still hasn’t stopped the kids from playing with it. They are asking if we can get another one. I absolutely will.

My only regret is not buying this slide sooner! I went back and forth on whether to buy a water slide for my daycare kiddos. I needed one that would be safe and good quality. I got this on promotion for 50% off so it was close to the price of renting one. We got it in September so we only got to use it for a few weeks but even then still worth it. We will 100% be using this all summer next year. The kids played on this slide for hours, took a nap, and went back to it. I have had seven toddlers on this at once and my older kids have played on it as well. Comes with the blower which was extra everywhere else I checked out. It is very easy to setup, good size, plenty of room to walk around on the bottoms. Sprinklers to walk through. Not too deep for smaller kiddos. So much fun for the kids in the hot summer heat!

My grandchildren live in an area that is hot almost all year long. It is a dry dusty desert and most yards are rocks and dirt. What could be better for kids in this environment than playing in water but also making that a play area that can make it fun for more than one age level to play and to do so safely. The pool part at the base is relatively shallow so it is very safe and the area has different areas to run around in and use their imagination. One of my granddaughters is a bit older than the other, but they can both enjoy the challenge of climbing and sliding down a water slide and then running around through and under a mister. This is a safe and fun way for two different age girls to be able to play together - especially in a climate which makes it possible for at Least 3/4 of the year. Because it included the motor to blow up the play area, it felt like it was pretty complete- but I would have liked the option of possibly adding on another water line, since the more water flowing the easier sliding can be. And it would have been even Better if the water lines could be built into the entire play set so that perhaps channel’s for water flow would automatically go to the spots where the water is needed and the only “hook up” could possibly be a single hose attachment at the base. As an extra layer of protection I included a very heavy duty tarp that I purchased and sent that was larger than the entire base measurement - to lay down underneath where the play area was going to be set up, to ensure that the rocky dry dirt doesn’t cut short the amount of enjoyment the kids will be able to get out of their “Christmas in July” present from Nana.
