I fly a complicated flight sim, and frankly there wasn't enough room or good ergonomics for my flight controls on my standard desk. I ordered this as an inexpensive basic desk for mounting flight sim controls. I was not disappointed. Much less expensive and takes up far less room than the dedicated flight sim rigs. It is well made for it's price point. This isn't a $2000 banker's desk after all! Pros: Light weight, basic table with plenty of room for mounting hardware for sims or gaming. Size and height are just right for a TV/monitor and gear, with a comfortable seating position for gaming. Design makes for very easy mounting of controllers and cable management. Cons: Surface is a soft plastic that can scratch easily. Be aware of this if you plan to use this desk as a general day-to-day computer desk. The plastic is bonded to the typical particle board. You aren't going to stand on this, or expect it to hold up to rough handling. Neutral: The assembly instructions are exploded drawings, but are adequate to assemble if you pay attention to the notes on the drawings. Leave the frame bolts a little loose until you get everything assembled, and some sort of assembly table to get it up off the floor while working on it will help you greatly. There are no pass-throughs for getting some of the long screws through the main bars, so a flashlight to see into the hole as you guide them will make things much easier. The supplied tools will get the job done, but as always, if you have better, you'll want to use them. ... show more

Nice sturdy desk that was easy to assemble. Desk needs to be a little bit higher. stickers will not stay on the metal legs so you better have a glue stick available.

Im no newbie to gaming or gaming desks. Im currently traveling and thought I would be ok using my gaming laptop at a regular table. I was wrong, so I sought out an inexpensive gaming desk and stumbled upon this. The positive reviews are dead on. You cannot beat this desk for the price. It arrived in perfect condition, was easy to put together and just as sturdy as some of the other $100-250 desks on the market. If I wanted to be nitpicky I could say that the top isnt quite as durable as what I am used to... but what I am used to is a true carbon fiber top which doesnt scratch. This looks like carbon fiber but it will scratch so I do recommend using a large mousepad. Also, the stickers that go on the legs did not stay on well. The second day they peeled off but I could care less about that. What I care about is how sturdy it is and it is very very sturdy and also easy enough to be assembled by one person, even a young person. If you need a budget gaming desk this is absolutely it. It should easily last a few years if used as intended. ... show more

Simple work desk and has some character for sure. The metal braces that go across the frame are heavy duty. Excellent aesthetics, functionality & very sturdy. The red lettering that matches the color are stickers and can be left out. I did not leave mine out because I wanna be a.. baller,.. shot caller,.... 20' in blades,... on the Im.... pala. :) Would def buy again. ... show more
