The rope that comes included with the anchor is incredibly cheap and thin. I immediately replaced it with a sturdier marine style rope, and added a small chain to the top of the anchor. The anchor's locking mechanism works effectively and it is light-weight and easy to deploy. Have had no issues with the anchor not holding in rough or choppy water. Would recommend to a friend - with the caveat of needing to replace thin and cheap rope. ... show more
