Okay after a long time of shopping on amazon for a couch i finally decided to go with this one. I'll try to address all the questions i had even after reading all the reviews Shipping. It was shipped by fedex on 9/12 from MN and was on truck for delivery to LA on 9/15 (i messed up my address so fedex couldnt deliver it till 7/18) 3 day shipping is quick tho! Smell. Some people commented on a bad smell? Mine sure doesnt. The cushions smell of a light resemblance of the inside of a new acoustic guitar. I love that smell thank you very much. Packaging. Frame parts in one box and cushions compressed in one box (its been 15 mins and im laying on it as i write this.. so comfortable!) Made in usa if that matters to you. And yes it comes with the covers and if you want more covers youll have to buy more. These ones are enough for me. Both boxes i was able to carry inside by myself (female not the strongest) I will update the rest of the points once i put it together and use it for a couple days. So far so good! Okay its been a day and i absolutely love it. For somrthing under $300 its very hard to find something so comfortable. Yes yes and yes again. Back support: i was worried that the back support wouldnt hold two people withought being against a wall but it does. You just cant be putting so much weight on it. Its held by two bolts, its not a lazy boy lets get real. Assembly: easy peezy lemon squeezy. 10 bolts and four washers. Tools included. Itll take an hour tops. One extra note, if you buy this plan on not really being able to return it.. its just not worth the hassle. Once the cushions are out youll have to find a new box big enough, youll have to ship it, and youll have to pay for the 25% restocking fee. ... show more

I had somewhat low expectations and figured things couldn't be that bad, and based the pictures of the cushions shown in both the product description and customer reviews, I figured I'd end up with something that was at least acceptable. Unfortunately, that just wasn't the case. For starters, I ordered one color but received another. I wouldn't have even minded the color discrepancy if this were an acceptable product--but it just isn't, not even close. The cushions are half as full/filled than the mattresses shown in the pictures. I know it says it may take a few days to decompress, but I just don't see that happening based on the material--it's a horribly thin blend that will never puff up and actually support your bum or back. After several hours and shaking things out, the specified thickness of the cushion/mattress is nowhere near 5"-6" -it's more like 3" when undisturbed (Pictures 1 & 3), and instantly flattened into 1" if actually put any weight/pressure on it (Picture 2). If you actually try and lean back, the pillows go right through the frame (Pic 4), and the corner--the best spot--is completely without support or closure since the two ends don't meet and there's a couple inches gap that just doesn't support anything based on the thinness of the cushion (Pic 5). It's like tossing a weighted blanked over a raw wood/metal bed frame and calling it a futon. Honestly, as soon as I looked at this thing and sat down on it, I started laughing like Steve Allen's laughing fit (google/youtube it) because I couldn't believe how bad it was. Lol. The fact that I purchased the protection plan for this garbage made me laugh even more as I slowly realized this is the most regrettable purchase I have ever made on Amazon for $300. I instantly knew I'd never get comfortable with this mistake and it's going to be such a hassle to return even with the seller's cooperation because now there's this...thing...in my apartment...that I'm not sure what to do with. ... show more

Overall, I do like this as a choice for small spaces but we made a change to it right out of the box. It looks really nice in the space and doesn't look cheap at all. When we first got it put together, we added a 2 inch thick foam pad to the "mattress" so I couldn't feel the slats through it anymore. It made it 100% more comfortable and it zipped up well. I really like how the arms are completely adjustable in height and makes it customized to be comfortable based on what pillow I am laying down on. After taking my first nap on it, my other complaint are the little fasteners that are placed on the mattress. They make it look cute with the little bunting indentations and keep the mattress layers fitted to the cover... But they scratch me. They are about one inch long, dry pasta noodle shaped fasteners that are good at rotating just the right way to scrape past an arm or leg as you move around. Will it stop me from keeping the couch? No. But it might be something I alter down the road. It is Corgi approved for height and will be a good piece to build around as I continue to decorate this space. ... show more

Lounger arrived in two boxes; frame in one cushions in another. I had some trouble with assembly, contacted the seller and got a PHONE CALL. Never in my life have I received a phone caller from an Amazon seller. I would recommend this seller and product to anyone. I looked at every single option for these adjustable arm single futons and did exhaustive googling about them...I am super happy with my final choice. I love the click clack multi-position design in the arms! Some were asking about the fabric of the solid colors. I purchased gray. It is not a textured weave, it is a soft microfiber-ish thing where if you rub your hand across it - it changes the sheen. Happy with this as I think it will be an easy clean up and it feels delicious on your feet. It is zippered but it is also tufted which means no zip off. If needed Ill use my bissel on it. Its not squishy like a cloud, but it is perfectly comfortable for me as a place to relax and watch streaming movies, nap or read a book and Im fatter than I wish I was. The man is 6'1 and has no issues sleeping on it. Even laying on our side we feel comfortable. Thank you very much to Riverside Partnerships for being the best seller this old Amazon customer has ever had the pleasure of doing business with. ... show more
