Okay after a long time of shopping on amazon for a couch i finally decided to go with this one. I'll try to address all the questions i had even after reading all the reviews Shipping. It was shipped by fedex on 9/12 from MN and was on truck for delivery to LA on 9/15 (i messed up my address so fedex couldnt deliver it till 7/18) 3 day shipping is quick tho! Smell. Some people commented on a bad smell? Mine sure doesnt. The cushions smell of a light resemblance of the inside of a new acoustic guitar. I love that smell thank you very much. Packaging. Frame parts in one box and cushions compressed in one box (its been 15 mins and im laying on it as i write this.. so comfortable!) Made in usa if that matters to you. And yes it comes with the covers and if you want more covers youll have to buy more. These ones are enough for me. Both boxes i was able to carry inside by myself (female not the strongest) I will update the rest of the points once i put it together and use it for a couple days. So far so good! Okay its been a day and i absolutely love it. For somrthing under $300 its very hard to find something so comfortable. Yes yes and yes again. Back support: i was worried that the back support wouldnt hold two people withought being against a wall but it does. You just cant be putting so much weight on it. Its held by two bolts, its not a lazy boy lets get real. Assembly: easy peezy lemon squeezy. 10 bolts and four washers. Tools included. Itll take an hour tops. One extra note, if you buy this plan on not really being able to return it.. its just not worth the hassle. Once the cushions are out youll have to find a new box big enough, youll have to ship it, and youll have to pay for the 25% restocking fee. ... show more

    • Good size, comfortable, but some annoyances
I wanted to give 3.5 stars, but 3 seemed too low 😆 I bought this futon instead of getting another Walmart brand memory foam futon (this was almost double the price), mostly because the fold-up arms were bigger, so the futon takes up less space in my small room. It also looked a lot comfier. My dad said it was easy to put together, and I like the look. It’s pretty comfortable, but the only thing that makes it more comfortable than the Walmart futon is that you don’t feel the bars under where you sit in the middle. The cushion is decent but feels pretty grainy/lumpy, which is disappointing. The mattress pulls down a bit from the metal arm of the futon as you sit, which isn’t a huge deal but your arm may be resting on the metal instead of the mattress. It is quite wide, so unless you’re super tall you will have to either pull your feet up or have them dangling off the edge. The pillows that make up the back of the couch don’t attach to anything so fall over a lot, which is also super annoying. I will try to put a couch cover over the whole thing and hope it fixes some of that. Overall, it is a decent futon, and great for my space concerns. I love that it has arms on the side that pull up & down, and the mattress is a decent thickness. I’m just not sure that the comfort quality and other small annoyances make it a significantly better value than my previous futon. ... show more

Lounger arrived in two boxes; frame in one cushions in another. I had some trouble with assembly, contacted the seller and got a PHONE CALL. Never in my life have I received a phone caller from an Amazon seller. I would recommend this seller and product to anyone. I looked at every single option for these adjustable arm single futons and did exhaustive googling about them...I am super happy with my final choice. I love the click clack multi-position design in the arms! Some were asking about the fabric of the solid colors. I purchased gray. It is not a textured weave, it is a soft microfiber-ish thing where if you rub your hand across it - it changes the sheen. Happy with this as I think it will be an easy clean up and it feels delicious on your feet. It is zippered but it is also tufted which means no zip off. If needed Ill use my bissel on it. Its not squishy like a cloud, but it is perfectly comfortable for me as a place to relax and watch streaming movies, nap or read a book and Im fatter than I wish I was. The man is 6'1 and has no issues sleeping on it. Even laying on our side we feel comfortable. I have slept on this futon for a couple of weeks now and it is really comfortable. The mattress is firm enough that you don't sink or feel the bars underneath, but not hard enough to be uncomfortable. The sides have a great mechanism that allows you to put them at varying angles that vary from straight up and down or completely flat. I will say that I haven't used this as a couch and I think that if I did I might rate this four stars. Also, I am only 5'4" so I am not sure how this would be for a tall person. It has to be pushed up against the wall. The back bars are too weak and unstable for any weight really. However the concept futon to sleeper was a great idea.

Perfect futon for my very small apartment! Fabulous customer service. The price point was very favorable. This item was very welcomed after not having anything for a month. I did add cover (also Peat and zippered) because the cover can be removed and washed, where as I cannot remove cover on mattress. This also allowed me to add memory foam padding. Both additional items I purchased were under $100.00 total. I offer this because some reviews commented on the mattress and I wanted to illustrate you can enhance the mattress relatively easy and inexpensively, if needed. For the cost of the futon I believe it is fine. I believe both frame and mattress to be nicely constructed. I added memory foam and cover for personal preference. Customer service was top-notch. Weather caused some problems and delayed delivery but the customer service attention along the way was incredible with emails and phone calls. I think it looks great in my transition apartment and convinced me to pull my bigger TV out of storage. ... show more

Really nice, as comfy as little futons get 👍🏼 . Took about 30 minutes to set up by myself. The back rest was the most difficult part of assembly, the screws were a little short and had to bend metal a little to get screwed in, not too difficult, but could be better . Only other complaint is that it is loud when you put the arms up or down, sounds like going uphill on a roller coaster. Got in grey, happy with color :) . Material is soft and seems like it will be fairly durable. I always read a ton of reviews when buying larger items, not all were good, but glad I risked it :) It appeared on my door step in the two cardboard boxes to the right of the futon in the pictures. This was very easy to assemble and I did it myself. I chose the brown and it's a nice chocolatey brown. I had a daybed in my tiny guest room that just swallowed the whole room, so I got rid of it for this futon lounge. The futon is a smaller profile and even when folded down all the way it still takes up less floor space than that daybed, yet can easily and comfortably sleep an adult. My photo doesn't do it justice. It's a richer brown than what my photo shows. And I appreciate the sturdiness of the metal frame and secure footing. ... show more
