This is a nice reasonably priced children’s kitchen set. It’s not super heavy, but it seems durable enough. One thing I didn’t like was the cupboards were a little hard to open. We solved the problem by attaching small pull straps to them so my one and a half year-old grandson can open them easily. I would suggest also anchoring it to the wall because it is light enough for a strong baby to push it around, which our strong baby likes to do. (I guess he thinks it’s a food cart.) I love the color and it looks really nice where we have it put in our living room which doubles as a playroom. It’s also a compact size, a real, plus. Big enough for him to have a great time playing with but small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of precious real estate. I do recommend this! ... show more

This kitchen is very cute and my grandson loves it! The instructions were clear and easy to follow; just be prepared that it will take some time to put it all together (3-4 hours). There were a couple of things that could be improved on (as others have suggested). The door "handles" are hard for little ones to grip and pull with enough force to actually open the doors. To fix this, we did not install the plastic door catches, and the doors stay closed just fine on their own! This makes it SO much easier for little ones to open them (note: for the microwave cabinet, you do want to install the one on the right-side panel because it will stop the door from closing INTO the cabinet). For the bottom cabinet and oven door, none are necessary (there is a wall divider that stops them)! The other thing we did differently is we left the hood piece off in favor of an extra shelf. We did put the bottom piece of it on just to give it a finished look. ... show more

Super cute! It’s hard to assemble and recommend doing with two people. It took my husband and about 2.5 hours. Be soooo careful with the parts, they are easily damaged. Once it was assembled it’s great and my 16 month old LOVES it! It keeps her entertained and encourages entertained play. I would recommend getting additional accessories like produce, stacking cups and dishes. The counter is small so only things that can fit inside the cabinets. ... show more

So cute! The directions are pretty well written but it takes a very long time to assemble, with two of us working it took 2 hours!! Do not wait until midnight on Christmas Eve to put together. I do wish the bottom was flat on the ground instead of on legs, just to help with tip prevention.
