I purchased this on sale for $199.99 in March of 2023. For that price, I was eager to try it out. I have seen similar products in stores. This is going in my basement game room. Arrived in one box. Pretty easy assembly. Looks very nice. Some reviews call it small and uncomfortable. I find it very comfortable to sit on. I did lay on it as well and found that comfortable for me. It is about 3 inches shorter in overall length than the previous futon I had in its place. But, I don't think that is an issue. We will see how it stands the test of time. We have had the prior futon for atleast 3 years. Hopefully, this does as well. Will update if we encounter any issues.

Review on futon- Futon was for my mom. So this review is from her. She loves it. Very simple to assemble. The seats/cushion are firm. They supply support when sitting or sleeping. Can fit about 2 adults sleeping, or about 3 when sitting. Comfortable and durable. Very stylish with a modern look. When guest comes over, it quickly and easily converts to a comfortable bed. There is a hidden pocket where some pieces are place. So you need to check the zipper pockets for those pieces. I’m happy that she’s happy. 😀 I have to add that Customer Service contact me quickly and resolved my issue. Very satisfied with Best Choice !

Works great for our garage billiards hangout room. Its not the most comfortable thing to sit on but it works great for my purposes. It would have been super easy to assemble except there were no holes for the support legs to screw into. I had to drill the holes myself to finish assembly. Also it is on the smaller side so be sure to read the measurements.

So I was looking at couches for about 4 weeks now, daily, for hours. 6 Categories were of the utmost importance for me, and below are what this couch scored. Aesthetically pleasing: 9/10 Notes: Looks modern & sexy on every aspect. Functionalities: 10/10 Notes: Pillows move, couch folds easily, storage under the couch, arm rests, cupholders, what else can you ask for? Price: 10/10 Notes: Looking at all of the other possible choices on the market, there is no wonder it's an Amazon Best Seller. (Nov 8th, 2023 edit: This couch is currently selling for $200...you can find a replica on Amazon for $120) Height: 10/10 (although may differ for others) Notes: Was looking for couches which were lower to the ground than others, thus- making the ceilings look higher. Ease of assembly: 9/10 Notes: Fast and easy....but this is where I thought things were a bit weird. The back 2 legs already have pre-made holes in the couch for them....although the front 2 don't. You will have to use a ruler or a measuring tape and decide where you want to drill the holes in. Bit silly...but no big deal. Comfortability: 2/10 Notes: This is where the company failed. When all else is perfect, why not just put an extra few dollars into comfort...which in the greater scheme of things, is the most important category. No way would you want to sit on this couch for hours at a time. Moreover...if you don't put some padding down on the couch before making a friend or family member sleep on it...they wont like you very much as I am near confident the following day they will be a bit grouchy at the least. In addition, the armrest is uncomfortable...as there is no significant padding...but rather just wood, which tends to hurt some people's elbows after a while. Lastly, now that I have had this couch for about a year...you can literally feel the springs coming from underneath every time you sit. Father refuses to sit on it. Overall score: C+ / B- For the price...this is one of the best couches you can possibly get...I say this with confidence, hence the Subject Line above. Nonetheless- don’t expect this couch to be your “go-to” for relaxing or watching movies or relying on its foldability for sleep....because it is uncomfortable and firm. I truly can’t understand why the manufacturer couldn’t double or triple the padding, as it is so cheap to do yet solves the one biggest issue this couch carries. This couch is fantastic for conference venues, showrooms, waiting areas in offices or places of business, kids rooms, for ‘staging’ before selling or renting a home in order to jack up the monthly income value, for a garage/man’s cave, or to be used as a contemporary piece to stash in a fairly unused large room in a big home to give an “elite” look. If any of these reasons are why you’re here today, then it is definitely your most affordable bet for the top-look overall. Let me introduce you to the Best Choice Products Faux Leather Upholstered Modern Convertible Futon, Adjustable Folding Couch—or as I now call it, The Nap Trap. This couch is like the chihuahua of furniture—compact, sturdy, and slightly judgmental when you try to get too comfortable. It fits perfectly in a small space, making it a great choice for apartments, offices, or that random corner of the room where you don’t know what else to put. As a couch, it does what a couch should do: Looks sleek and modern Holds up well to sitting and lounging Folds down technically into a bed But that’s where the betrayal begins. The Nap Test: A Cautionary Tale One afternoon, feeling a little sleepy, I thought, Why not test out the futon’s “convertible” feature and take a glorious nap? Dear reader, I regret everything. This futon folds down in theory, but it turns into something that can only be described as a very firm suggestion of a bed. It’s too small for an adult to stretch out comfortably, and unless you enjoy sleeping in the fetal position or waking up feeling like you’ve been doing an extreme yoga challenge, this is not the place for you. The faux leather doesn’t help either—it’s the perfect material if you want to slide off onto the floor mid-dream. Durability: Built Like a Tank (a Tiny, Unforgiving Tank) To its credit, this couch is surprisingly sturdy. It holds up well to daily sitting and the occasional frustrated repositioning when you realize yet again that this isn’t the place for a cozy nap. If you need a firm, modern-looking couch for guests to perch on while drinking coffee, it’s perfect. If you need an impromptu bed? Buy literally anything else. Final Verdict Would I recommend it for someone who just needs a stylish, space-saving couch? Yes. Would I recommend it for anyone who has ever wanted to nap comfortably in their life? Absolutely not. Final Score: 2/5 – Great for sitting, a nightmare for napping.
