I was very excited for this item based upon the reviews I had read; seemed like it would hold up very well. So I purchased it in advance of moving into a studio apartment. I had it ordered and stored for about a month and a half prior to opening it. Upon opening, it assembled very easily, and the thing sat well. However, after about 3 days one of the hinges on the center of the futon where it clicks to change position broke - it came completely off and now the futon can't hold a position on one side at all. I realize my case may not be representative of the item, but nonetheless, it still broke very easily and very quickly. Buyers beware. ... show more

The legs and arms had to be attached, and that’s it for assembly. Very easy. Ideal for getting a couch into an rv. About as comfortable as a futon can be, so adjust expectations accordingly. Small tear in the fabric but it’s ok, not in a visible place. Overall I’m delighted because my main concern other than just getting it into the rv was smell. I have severe mcs and this had no chemical smell. Very nice for the price. ... show more

I bought the brown color and it looks grey and it came with a tear on the front. Looks nice but not very comfortable and I don’t think it’s worth the price

    • Very uncomfortable to sleep on in my opinion
The futon is supposed to be 36 in depth front to back. Yes it is out of square and is causing me a problem with placement of where I am using it. Not satisfied. Going to look into returning

    • Broke in two months with minimal use.
Bought at the end of January 2022 and here we are at the beginning of April and it’s already broken. The right side no longer will stay in the upright position. Found two screws that had fallen out on that side from the back. One of the screws was broken in half. I liked the couch before it no longer can be used as a couch on one side. ... show more
